Costco email/shops

Has anyone been sent a personal email from our favorite recall company about a shop involving a cooking product with ZERO info? Just asking if you are interested? How would someone know this unless they are told what it entails? Then you have the task of drawing the info out of them bit by bit. It’s the usual pay, but I suspect the normal roll out is being withheld in order to see if others in highly populated areas will do it for less. They weren’t always like this, but given a little praise and it goes straight to their heads. Then the greed sets in. Hold your ground people and stop selling yourself short so others can profit off of you.

I've gotten two fishing expeditions in the past few months but not this particular one. They seem to be verifying coverage for getting something done to win a contract? IDK but if they provide details and want something absurd for too little pay, I do not consider my affirmation that 5 local grocery stores are within my range to be a promise that I will do any task necessary for any pay they care to offer. There is no contract at this point.
Deedee: I know, they shouldn’t take anyone’s interest as a buy in. You would think they would know better, but they do take us for suckers. They confirmed the pay but not what it entails. The response to that is it’s currently a ‘potential project.’ and they were checking to see if it would be something I would be interested in. A ‘Yes’ to them signals that you would be interested not knowing the pay or what it entails.

There’s a free membership in the bargain. To me that signals an all day, fresh hell affair in a back room that CC doesn’t want to deal with. At least it’s a recall and not a sample serving situation.

They did this same type of hidden survey with a buck store inquiry that went nowhere a couple years ago. They were already contracted with them, so it made no sense. Say upfront it’s a survey, like other MSCs do, otherwise it’s misleading. I don’t have time to waste on this crap.
Nothing showing up in my neck of the woods for the big C. Still a couple of Buck Recruitments are there from who knows how long ago.

After pouncing on just about everything in my area when I first got going with them, I find myself primarily interested in the larger recall projects these days.

There's a one-off customer complaint pickup that I could conceivably work into one of my routes, and the couple I've done previously were interesting, but even with paid admin time and the mileage fee I don't think these are worthwhile anymore.
