I haven't done a shop for them yet, but I am doing my first one today. Wish me luck! I signed up with them 3 months ago but I was either rejected for jobs or else they weren't suitable. Finally, last week they approved my first one! Only to find out that it was a children's clothing store when it was advertised as an adult's one - but just by pot luck the one they gave me was for kids. I don't have any kids. I had to call up one of my sister to ask what size her kids are. They are also paying $0 for it, so I am paid with reimbursements, which is $35.
I can't say how they are beyond that, as this is my first job and I haven't set anything else up with them, but from what I can see they have a lot of jobs where they pay $0 and just reimburse you, but the reimbursements are quite high.
The other thing that is odd about them is that there was no narrative. I just go in, get whatever I like, and just note how good the service is. Everywhere else I've worked (5 places, 28 shops in 20 different companies in the past 6 months) has had a narrative, with what I have to purchase and what I have to do. This one doesn't.
I actually contacted head office about this one because I said I don't have kids and can't try on kids clothes, and they said that that was fine, as I can just buy it for someone I know.
Like most of them, it seems pretty hands-off, and there was no way to talk to the scheduler at all, which was weird. Usually I could talk to them, but instead I had to contact head office to get a response, but they were nice.
Pros: High reimbursement amounts, no narratives, can do whatever you like with the shop
Cons: No pay other than reimbursements, no way to contact the scheduler and have to contact head office, few jobs, few suitable jobs
