What to do when editor tells you you didn’t shop the right address but you did:

I did a shop for IntouchInsite and uploaded the salesman’s biz card as required but the shop was sent back saying the address on the card doesn’t match, which is pure lunacy. Everything about the name, address, and phone number on the card matches exactly what is on the shop. I replied to the email and provided evidence like google screenshots and etc saying it is the one and only location in that city, both the street and the business are unique to that city. I noted it in the bottom notes section of the shop and resubmitted without changing anything but what do I do if it’s rejected again and I’m told that it doesn’t match when it clearly does without a shadow of a doubt?

There are a lot of streets here in Alabama that have more than one name, and I've had to explain that to editors from time to time. But other than that I have only shopped the wrong location when there are two of the same store in a shopping mall. Or when Google maps shows the same address for two gas stations, one on each side of the freeway.
Same company stiffed me because the store's POS had a different street address on the receipt than was indicated on the shop. I sent irrefutable proof on multiple occasions that I shopped the correct location, but never got it resolved.

Sounds eerily like the Ipsos M.O. Maybe they're taking lessons.
I remember several years ago I did a Little Caesar's Pizza Shop.

They used to be located at XXXXXXX but they moved up the street to YYYYY (which was about 5 miles from the previous location),, There was only one in the street..

The address in the guidelines said YYYYY but when I got the pizza and the ticket, the ticket had XXXXX address.. I mentioned to the cashier and they said that they had not updated the computer system.

I took the require pictures and all.. I emailed the schedule asking on what to do and she said go ahead and submit the report but make a note

My shop was approved smiling smiley
I notice this alot with street names on state highways. You could have something like "123 State Route 2 in Anytown, Kansas 12345" and it can also be called "123 Main St, Anytown, Kansas 12345" or even some memorial name like "123 Veterans Hwy, Anytown, Kansas 12345" and they all represent the same place.

I think posting proof to the reviewer about this name difference can definitely help. If the rejections keep happening, push higher up if you can. I haven't had this specific issue for a rejection, but for other rejections, I plead higher up as much as I can and have been successful in reversing the rejection about 95% of the time. It just sucks though because then the payment gets delayed and you were hoping for that little bit of helpful cash, etc.
I the address on the card is exactly the same as what is on the assignment, sounds like a simple goof on the part of the editor, something that should get resolved easily.
Have you contacted the scheduler and asked her/him to look at it?

I emailed and no reply so I submitted it with no changes with notes in the note area asking how the address doesn’t match and then reiterated how it did match. Again, no reply. I’m hoping they see their mistake and are just embarrassed, but to not write back is unprofessional.
Hopefully they are just busy sorting out why this happened and providing additional training to prevent it recurring. But, I share your frustration with the lack of follow up. They expect us to communicate promptly and effectively but clearly do not expect the same of their staff.
I did not even get questioned when I did a shop with geolocated and timestamped photos for Intellishop. The address was on a corner so it showed "incorrectly" on a couple photos. I know how to fix that but didn't notice in time. They apparently were aware of this issue and accepted without pushback.

My rejection was somewhat different. Approx. 2 1/2 yrs. ago, I completed a shop for Intelli-shop that required a business card. Unfortunately, the salesman was unable to provide me with his card, one from the business or even any literature. His response to not having any literature was that the dealership had all posted online. The MSC, although I had completed 265 shops over a 19 yr. period, refused payment; I terminated the relationship. Although I regretted the need to take such an action, I have never regretted "pulling the plug." I have neither need nor desire of being abused by anyone.
When I can't get a business card after asking, I will ask for the person to write their name and contact number on a sticky note or on something so I will remember who I spoke with because I don't like starting over with someone new. They always write their information down for me. It has always passed as a business card so far when needed.

Ark, thank you; your solution to the problem never dawned on me.
