Taking A company's Mystery Shop Seminars

If you take the company's mystery shopping seminar, would you be more likely to be assigned more jobs?

I figure if there is something they want me to learn, they will supply the training. The jobs pay so poorly as a general rule that I am not sinking money into buying supplemental education from them in order to have them slowly repay the cost by me doing jobs for them.
And if you are talking about 3rd party training, absolutely not. Waste of money.
Well, free is the right price. I'd do it if it's a prerequisite for jobs. I'm not sure what company you have come across with seminar training but if it isn't a travel expense or fee based service, hey, why not?!

I wonder if the OP isn't referring to the Ipsos YouTube videos where Carey dances around like a loonatic while she's pretending to shop.
It is Isposos, this is what I got in my email. Webinar Registration Reminder
You have a final opportunity to register for the 'Level Up Your Mystery Shopping Game' webinar on April 26th at 11AM EST, featuring insights from mystery shoppers and experts.
I will accept it if I think there is something I could learn or something that I need. I won't pay for it, though.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
They have both free and for-pay tutorials and webinars. Check the fine print or begin to register and stop if they ask for money. They have many ways of getting money out of shoppers. Either way, it won't make a bit of difference in your ability to accept or perform shops with them.
