We have a job board area where folks first go to look for jobs. You may want to post these there as well :)

Thanks, Barbry
I am always looking for new companies to register with. I have been working for several years and love to find a new company that perhaps has a "new" type of assignment that might offer me a challenge I haven't yet had. Soooooooo I'm going over and register with you. Hope you have jobs in Tennessee. I'm quite new on the forum myself - so welcome to you!

Barbry,
Do you have shops on the East Coast. I am in the North Country of NY State on the edge of the Adirondack Mountains. I don't want to waste time contacting companies with no posts over here.
This forum is so helpful. It's really wonderful! I tried to get going as a shopper last year but there was no guidance for finding companies and I just decided it would take too much time to contact individual companies. It wasn't only the time-it was just confusing. This forum has provided the guidance to at least get started with it.
Does anyone know who Kim is from Seattle, WA? I think she calls herself MS Mom.
She was in my email with recommendations for 3 companies. Was she from the forum?
You do a lot of work before you get to the bottom line to learn there are no shops in your area. We'll be finding a solution to this hopefully...

In my opinion, you gotta just do the work. Companies get new clients and lose current ones all the time. The more companies you are registered with, the better chance you have of keeping the work coming. Jobslinger can help you out, but the reality is, you still gotta sign up and pay your dues.

IT'S NOT POSSIBLE...to have too, many friends, have too, much money, or own too, many putters.

Edited to note: this post was in response to the poster who didn't want to waste time contacting companies that did not have shops in her area.
I agree with dee's comment: you just gotta do the work. Sign up. A company may have no shops in your area today, but that could change suddenly. It really doesn't take that long to sign up with most MS companies on their websites. I signed up with over 150, figuring even if most didn't have shops in my area, what had I lost? Some I have only done one shop for, some I have never done a shop for. And a few, after nothing for a year, suddenly had shops in my area and e-mailed me...and since I was already signed up, I was ready to take the shops. Go ahead and sign up with a bunch and work for those who have shops. Decide which ones you like best and which you'd rather not do many shops for......
