Has anyone ever personally sued a merchandisng company?

I just ran across this company, It seems this is one of their specialties. Just wondering, and pondering all the admin. time I was never paid for in the last year.

There was this sometime back against convergence marketing:

At the time, because I had worked some for them, and because this was a class action suit, all employees, myself included, received some sort of legal form to be included in any settlement that may occur. Turns out,
she won against convergence. How do I know?? I got a check for a whopping $20.00!! (I didn't have a lot of hours invested in convergence). Interesting thing now is, when I googled this, it is near impossible to find
any sort of comprehensive documentation on this case. I remember back in around May of 2015, I found a
real detailed PDF link about the whole case, but now I can only find little pieces of info such as the link
above. So anyhow, that's one incident!

Going back I found FGX, Acosta, and Driveline suits. I was wondering if it really paid to start one. From your whopping pay day, the answer for me would be no.
Ha ha! Yeah! The $20.00 I got was EITHER to cover drive time between stores, or something like drive time from home to store #1 IF I had to take items from home in my car to store #1, and from my last store to home, if I still had items in my car, covering a period of so many years. So I may have had a total of 3 or 4 hrs drive time owed to me, I can't remember exactly. I wish I still had that PDF I found back a year or so ago, it listed ALL the details!! So it couldn't have impressed me too much, because I can't even be sure what the issue was that I received the $20.00 for!! ha ha!! But I do believe the main plaintiff did get all she was supposed to get, which I believe was substantial. I wonder how much the lawyer got! I agree with you...probably way too much hassle unless you're due several thousands of dollars. Probably a lot of headaches too!

Edited to add: Oh, by the way, I got some sort of tax form from this company that I have to file on my taxes. It looks like I have to claim $10.00 of the $20.00 as income!!

The company that I had in mind never paid drive time between stores, period. No admin time, which could be really extensive as there were huge multi page service procedures, POGS, manager sign off sheets, all of which you had to print, lots of photos, plus insanely huge data entry for the reports. A 1 hr. service could easily have an hour of uploading and reporting at home, unpaid.
The company I am working for has started saying "spend the full hour at the store", yet they are not paying travel or admin time, so there is no way to do that unless you are volunteering. It is probably time to start looking again, even though I like the work.
