Schedulers that make you feel loved and appreciated {Insert sarcastic tone}

So talking to a scheduler who is probably half way around the world for the third time this week. He asks me about doing more of a project which requires a shipment to my house and when I mention that it hasn't arrived yet, he asks me for my phone number, so they can make sure it is correct (hmm you have been reaching me all week). Then, he asks if I have a name. (Not yet, I was thinking of getting one for my birthday next month though.)

I end up caving and accepting a shop a little further out than I would like, then he offers me another shop with a small bonus in the same town. Goes on about how I can maximize my time and gas by driving there by doing both on the same day. After I agree to accept the second shop, he says that the second shop is due on Monday and I remind him that materials need to be sent for shop number one, so I won't have them on Monday. After going back and forth a bit, he finally agrees that it won't save me on gas and time to go two separate days and I am able to decline the second one as they won't increase the price and it is not worth gone out there as a lone shop.

And what might be my favorite of appreciation-------At the end I request that the bonuses agreed on today and from the other day be sent to me in writing as I am unable to see the bonuses on the site anywhere. The list of shops I had all appeared to be at regular prices. I get the e-mail a short while later and it is addressed as "Hi Mr./Ms./Mrs." followed by my first and last name. I did check my profile and it says female and married which could have been a clue.

Okay, now I demand your birthday, so we can have a naming ceremony.

Seriously, that made me laugh-out-loud.

I feel like I know the MSC you're talking about. Those are some complicated shops that really take time and effort to prepare for (both before and after) and sometimes it feels like these schedulers just don't realize how much we put into these things. If only our reports could cover such a wide gamut, huh? "This morning/this evening/yesterday/tomorrow, I spoke with Mr./Ms./Mrs. So-and-So..." Works for me!

Sending the best,

Jen
I wish we could be that vague in our reports. Wouldn't it be great to report that a person between the ages of 15 and 90 wearing clothes assisted us.

The whole Mr./Ms./Mrs. thing was super irritating to me. They could have just sent it without a name or even Hi followed by my name and it would have been fine, but the multi choice greeting just bugged me.
That is funny....bye the bye, most strangers call me Ma'm. I am laughing, thx.

Live consciously....
So, what name did you choose? Wonder Woman? Or did you prefer Empress of All Known Civilization?
