Gas Stations shops

Can anyone help narrow down for me some companies you've worked for that do gas station shops? We have a lot of ** stations in our area, and I'd love to see what the requirements are to shop them. I work with Corporate Research on shops every month that have ***** shops.

I have registered with many, many companies. I have looked at Volition.com and registered with many of those companies too. Seems the ones I register with are never in my area of the country for the gas station shops. I also am limited to the time I can spend registering with companies and searching for jobs, since I work full time and have a wonderful husband and two boys, 2 & 3 years old. Many of my shop leads come from the Sassie companies, since they send out emails with postings. There are a few companies that I check regularly for the updated postings, since I know they usually have some in my area. And I have dial up at home, ugh, since we're country living with no high speed internet as of yet!

Any insight for gas stations would be appreciated! I am in WI and shop both WI and MN.

To new shoppers and the not-so-new shoppers. Some companies are offering very cheap commissions for much work needed to perform these gas station assignments.Between travel time,fuel cost,purchase(if required),some requiring photos,and time spent submitting your report,you're working yourself way below minimum wages.The client(oil companies)of the mystery shop companies are making million$,so they can afford to pay.The best way to make a little in the pocket is to not jump on these low commissions.Wait until the offers escalates,(and they will),because assignments has to be submitted before the end of each month.

I do alot of gas stations with shop check, they pay 12.00 and they also reimburse up to 2.00. i usually do 4 a day, and they are within a mile of each other, I have never seen them go up their pay at the end of the month. So I can make 48.00 within a 2 hour period, that includes uploading the pics and doing the report. Now if you have never upload the pics it may take you a which.

How much work is involved in those gas stn shops? I've seen some advertised with SHop n Check in my area but the notes say it could take up to an hour to complete, there are photos to be taken and they're audit shops. I haven't applied as I thought an hour was rather long for $12 beofer uploading photos, submitting reports etc

The longest that i have been at the gas station is about 15 mins, it takes another 15 or 20 mins to the report

Some of these shops do take an hour. My first one took an hour and 40 minutes--I had to get used to it.

Besides Shop'n Chek, Corporate Research has some. The pay is low, but if you do several and you have memorized the details, it goes quickly and they add up. I like them but I don't like uploading. I have too many problems with it.

I also do Gas Stations for Ritters and Service Intelligence and those you do not need to do pictures. I do not like uploading pictures. I love the reveal part but not the reports because of the pictures. They are very easy to do and the reports are also easy ones. They are just multiple choice answers. They have a few in our area but not every month so you would just have to see if they have some where you live.

I have also done some for Shop N Check. They are more time comsuming than the ones for Corporate Research. And they required pictures for negative answers. I had 60 pictures taken for one shop! The report was multiple choice, but I had trouble uploading the pictures with my dial up at home.

My thought is that the pay may be low, and some may take an hour or more, including reports, but I shop to help support my family's budget. So as Sandra Sue said, they can add up quickly! Every dollar when your family is on a tight budget can help!
