Trying to find schedulers who may have moved on to another company

Anyone else gets sad when one of their favorite schedulers stops working for a company? I'm glad when I find one of those schedulers working for another company. However, I sometimes have no idea where a scheduler went or if he/she is still in the industry.

Yes!! I haven't seen one of my favorites who disappeared, show up elsewhere yet. At least not a place I'm signed with... I'm only in the upper 80's so far as number of MSC's.

They may, but some of them have common names (i.e. many FB users with that name) and no indication that they are in our industry (e.g. not friends with other schedulers or shoppers that I know and did not like MS related companies). I usually don't have enough information to find out which one is the correct profile. It may also be kind of weird to contact a scheduler through their personal FB page.
I guess the upside of this is that if the scheduler hasn't contacted you, you know they didn't steal all of the contacts from the msc like some schedulers have done.

I was thinking the same thing just after I wrote that, Busy.

Maybe you could post the name so we could let you know if we see her/him anywhere.
I guess it depends on the relationship you have with your schedulers, but the ones that matter most to me, I have their contact info(i.e. cellphone) and when they have moved they told me...

There's been a few favorites who haven't moved on, but up. That's a major bummer. I'm happy for them that their great performance was recognized with a promotion to a new area of responsibility, but sad for me.
