Lobby theater check help

Hi guys, The other post about doing a movie shop reminded me that I have some questions about a shop I'm doing tonight. I have done other lobby checks where I only had to count things. This is the first one where I have to take photos with a time stamp. I also have to check all the LEN monitors for sound. I have read over all the instructions many times and although although all the references to taking photos uses the term "digital camera", they have never said anywhere that a cell phone camera cannot be used.

Has anyone done these shops taking photos in the theater lobby? Has anyone used a cell phone instead of a camera? My digital camera does not have a setting to record the date/time stamp on photos, however I have an app on my iphone that does. I have never had an issue with my phone and the quality of images I use.

Sounds like you're doing a revealed audit on the purple portal. If your phone takes clear pictures with sufficient resolution, there should be no problem. If not, you won't get paid.
I have always used a camera.
If the job description says that a time/date stamp is necessary, make sure that you use the app to add the stamp. Others have done so effectively - you could search this forum for several discussions re. adding time/date stamp ethics and processes.
Yes, the app is a camera app. You take photos using the app and you can select the color, font size and if you want both time and date.
I tried a few colors to see which shows up the best. It's very easy and saves to your camera roll like most camera apps.
Thank you guys, the photos were alright but a couple were not spot on as clear as I'd like but I went with it.

The reason I'm writing again is I made an error and I'm so mad at myself. I had two pages for the manager to sign and I left one there at the managers desk. I gave it to him to sign and walked to take a photo and left it. When I went over all the papers I had in my hand, I saw the second signed paper and thought the only paper I left was the intro letter. Leaving that paper will probably result in rejection. I guess everyone has a few of these and it's a tough lesson in being very careful when you have lots of forms.

Are they asking you to upload the form or do you just need to enter the answers on the website? If you need it, go back and get it! Call the theater and see if they still have it. Reprint the form if necessary.

It's in their best interest to work with you. Bonuses depend on these audits!

Yes, I am so relieved that by being honest the MSC is working with me. I called and left a note for the manager. I think I have it handled now. I even managed to find a work-a-round for my camera too which I'll use again tomorrow. I had to change my settings to jpg photos only (I mostly use raw) and the software with my Sony has a way to add a date stamp - it doesn't put the time on but CFA only states they are interested in a date stamp only ( mainly due to the nature of these checks are specific date for an audit). So I am ready to go again tomorrow at a different theater about 10 miles away.

Apparently there are lots of bonus emails flying everywhere this weekend. I am home and no plans to BBQ so I'm taking advantage of all these bonuses! : )
