WOMAN'S WORLD MAGAZINE: Theater checks are written up!!

Damn!!! The January 20th edition of Woman's World magazine mentions signing up for theater checks with both Marketforce and Verites!!!

Hopefully this will not create any new shoppers in competition with me.

The principal of Marketforce is quoted as saying they never have enough shoppers...will be glad when this edition is out of circulation with next week's version !!!!

I'm not worried about the competition. Once those people see how low the pay is for theater checks, they're going to be dropping like flies.

Seriously. I haven't figured out how you could make more than $.50 an hour doing them, but admittedly I don't understand them. To me it looks like you sit at a theater from open to close for $5.

B, I don't understand it either. If I'm going to be somewhere all day I expect a day's pay. I'm sure I'm just not catching on to how this works. And, if I'm going to see the same movie over and over without a mute button, I'll need torture pay.

more bad news for you...travel channel is promoting mystery shopping
as well...telling people where to go to sign up for hotel shops etc
during their 6 part hotel:undercover series airing this month

My understanding about the MF theater checks is that the payment amount is for each showing that you do counts for. That is according to the guy from the Philipines who called me a the last minute and practically begged me to go do one at a theater 30 miles away. (Not.)
