How do I find merchandising assignments and does any one have any feed back on this subject?

Merchandising can be a good supplement to your mystery shopping income and, unlike mystery shops, you can work and earn money steadily for most of the companies that you work with.

You can be paid hourly for recurring jobs or by the project for one time jobs.

The index at volition.com (among others) has a merchandising chat board where you can ask questions and learn about merchandising and the companies that do it and, also, a list of merchandising companies that you can register with.

Good Luck.
Some of the mystery shopping companies also do merchandising. When they have merchandising jobs in your area, they will contact you. As the other respondent mentioned, on the Volition website, they have a huge list of merchandising companies you can register with. Merchandising usually pays $11-$14/hr. Sometimes they have permanent/part-time jobs. Just like many have already suggested, you just need to go to the various websites, register and read about what they offer. It will be worth the trouble. I have to reiterate, if you DO NOT like to read instructions, you cannot succeed as a mystery shopper.
Try NARMS.com or flexhire.com, they are recruiting sites for merchandising. I work for about 6 different merch companies, one is an acutal part time year round job and the others are fill ins. Handlemans is always looking for reps, Mosaic usually has alot of work, pat henry has fill in work, and national in store has year round work.
