Bestmark posted a article about route shopping on facebook. Sounds to me like an abbreviated version of the e-book in the MSM earlier this week.

I find this a tad ironic, as I recently received an email from a scheduler a few weeks ago asking to perform a shop in my immediate area. The end of the email stated to "please do not accept this assignment if you are performing more than four assignments on the date you choose. We appreciate quality reports."

I felt a bit miffed, as I try my best to submit quality reports no matter how many shops I perform that day.

The scheduler conveniently forgot as an independent contractor the decision for how many shops to complete is your choice, not theirs. It is none of their business whether that means two or twenty-two.

They can limit how many you perform for their MSC for a particular day all they want (Market Force does this with their fast food shops in that they say you can only do one FF per meal period).

However, they cannot limit how many you do with other MSC's.
You could do the one Market Force breakfast shop and four (or as many as you want) FF breakfast shops from another company if you think you can get them all done in the time allowed.
