Anyone done Audits for GFK?

GFK sent an email about an audit. Nothing is said in the email on how much they are paying, but they did say the audits would take all day?!?

I'm not a GfK lover. Their pay scale is low and they are the only MSC I've encountered so far requiring a test before every shop. Too much time required for too little pay.
It sounds like a big blue electronic store audit. If it is, then from what I have read here most people do not like it or think the pay is low for the time required. Although I've read some people like it. I personally will wait to read about them, before signing up.

Have PV-500 & UE certified
I signed up for the "request more info if interested" and was told they would email more details next week along with the pay rate. Of course, there's a 45 minute online "briefing" and a test. Oh, and a background check. It's supposed to be a full-day gig, every other month, so it will be interesting to see what it pays.
I've done photo audits for their cell phone provider client. Walked in, took a couple pictures, tested at least one of each of the different types of handsets to make sure it was connected to the Internet, looked at their display shelving to make sure it was on the approved, and had the manager sign a form. It paid a lousy $14 but it was quick and easy, and the report form was minimal, mostly uploading photos and clicking Yes or No.

Plan the work. Work the plan.
these are nothing like the cell phone shops. These are long days
and if they are anything like last time they constantly add to
the workload without increasing the pay. Not worth it at all.
Almost as bad as the ikea shops except these pay quicker.

Besides the background check and the 45 minute phone call and the test, they want you to go piss in a cup. At least the other MSC that has a drug test is doing it as a shop and paying you.

I almost took that shop, but I figured it would end up being the "parole" style test where they stare at you fill the cup. The pay was too low to do that!
If these are the cellphone audits, they are fast and the questionnaire is simple. I have done the shops and uploaded them from my smartphone right after I had done the audit. The last audits were simpler than when they started the program.

The cellphone associates are helpful and the only lag time is if there are more customers than associates available.
medowynd do you read?

The email says to respond if interested and so I responded and said let me know what it pays and I may be interested.
Right. These are NOT the cell phone audits that most of us have done, but something completely different. Still waiting to hear back regarding pay.
I am waiting to hear too it also says background check and it is supposed to be

"evaluating compliance with store and government policies"

For an all day they had better pay quite a bit 150.00 at the least, if it does not involve anything more than uploading information.
If they want more then I do hope it pays more.
komondor

They paid less than that when it involved two days.

Why would someone spend a whole day of work for 75.00 that is a little over 9.00/hr not worth it for sure to me. I do 8-10 airport shops in a day and it pays over 100.00 and I get a fair amount of food and other stuff. I don't deny anyone the right to take any shop they want but I do wish the lowball ones went undone until they started to pay more myself. For many shops they do want someone that is fairly skilled and they should be willing to pay for it!
Komondor - Even in airports which are connected beyond securoity (so that I can enter one terminal and access the others), I have never seen that many shops available at one time. Admittedly I don't travel in/out or through every airport, but my list includes Philadelphia, Dulles, and Los Angeles. Even adding O'Hare where with some work I can get to most of the terminals, I have never seen that number offered even by a combination of MSCs. San Francisco and Newark often have half a dozen available at once, but each terminal has its own security scan (Terminal A at EWR had three different security entries which connect to different arms of the same terminal and you can't get into one without a ticket for the airline served by that arm). I am either missing something or I am traveling to the wrong airports. If I could do 8 - 10 shops in a few hours inside one airport and not have to worry about mileage from one place to another or getting wet moving from car to each store, I would jump at the chance!

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I do work for one MSC that contracts with the airport for mystery shopping so I will have 8 shops usually on one concourse they do them once a month. They also arranged for me to get an airport badge.

The shops are usually 10-15 minutes in the store and some bar compliance ones are about 1 hour.
I've done a few other projects for them. They seem disorganized to me. Their schedulers send out masses of emails every day that get annoying when they aren't even for locations within 100 miles of you. I made the mistake of paying for the background check and drug test. Probably $30 wasted.
