Prophet, Sassie and ShopMetrics

I need some help, please. In the past, I have read posts from shoppers asking which reporting software an MSC uses and other posts requesting a list of which MSC uses which one. Could someone(s) please help me understand the differences between the three and why it's important?

For example, is one more shopper-friendly? Does one have additional benefits to the shopper? Is one easier to navigate? Why do you prefer one over the other and, if so, why?

Thank you in advance.

I think it's just personal preference. I like that companies using Prophet are self assign and I prefer that assignment method. Most Prophet reports are shorter and easier, although not always. I prefer report submission in Sassie because I find it easier to submit and to save the report in pdf. I find Shopmetrics somewhat annoying, but it doesn't discourage me from working for companies who use Shopmetrics. For me, it just doesn't matter that much.
AustinMom, thank you for replying!

MSCs using SASSIE are not self-assign?

it's easier to enter reports on prophet but it's easier to search
for jobs on sassie.

How so, the latter, techman? Jobslinger?

Why are Prophet reports easier? I have never noticed a difference.

Some Sassie jobs are self assign and some are not. All Prophet assignments seem to be self assign - at least I can't think of any off hand that are not.
photos on sassie get uploaded one at a time.

Prophet they dont upload til the end. The same
exact report on sassie will take a few minutes longer
than prophet.

I like both Sassie and Prophet, but dislike Shopmetrics. I don't find it user friendly nor intuitive.
I *HATE HATE HATE* that Prophet emails do not include the city, or even state where the shop is located. I find myself doing way less shops for Prophet platforms as I do not want to check if the shop is even close to me.

Sassie can also drive me nuts occasionally. I live on the edge of 3 area codes, and so I put all 3 in their profile fields. This gives me emails for shops hundreds and hundreds of miles away...
clientsmart is worse than shopmetrics.

Nothing is worse than clientsmart

Please excuse my lack of knowledge, but when you say it's not "intuitive", how would that be different if it was?

I wish ALL of them would be more mobile friendly. There is mobiaudit for Shopmetrics. But it still kinda sucks.

I also think sassie has gotten much better over the past year or so.
I prefer Sassie because it is easier to find jobs, see the status of assigned jobs, and check the status of payments.

For the job search, Sassie allows one to see a list or graphical display by map. One can change the radius and starting point easily. One can also sort the results in the list form by the various fields including client name or even shop fee. Shopmetrics allows one to see the shops by the default radius from the starting point, but only in list form. One can sort the shops by the fields, but it is not as intuitive as Sassie. Prophet's display of shops is by a certain radius that may include shops in your state, or not. When you search for shops 'outside your area' the result is often - You are not eligible for any shops. If you get results you can see, then they are listed only by city. Then you must click on the cities and ask it to display those shops. I find this method cumbersome at best.

Sassie also displays the current status of jobs in progress and payments better than the others. It's all right there to see in your job log. I do enjoy the fact that Prophet jobs seem to all be self-assignable.

Now that I think about it, I find Prophet companies lower on list of preferred MSPs than others. I think the easier job search on the other platforms (and some unique platforms for some MSPs) has a role in that. However, the fact that Prophet companies have less jobs in my area than others probably more of a factor.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
I love Sassie's integrated cross-MSC map search, but Prophet wins hands down for offering self-assigning privileges across the board, easy self-rescheduling when necessary and simple, straightforward submission of reports and photographs.
For me, Sassie wins hands-down. There is no issue saving reports part way through along with any images already downloaded. I can access it for reading (but not inputting) purposes from my Android phone. Generally, it is straight-forward although I have seen Intell-Shop manage to make certain shop reports convoluted. It is also easier to see potential jobs for a wider area.

I don't like the fact that Prophet will not show me jobs for which it considers me ineligible. There are several remote jobs that I take but I have to contact the scheduler and ask if they are available and then they manually assign them to me.

I rarely take on Shopmetrics gigs simply because I find the system so irritating. Although not mentioned above, I stopped shopping for certain companies that have switched to ISecretShop because I consider that to be the worse of all.
I'll weigh in

I use all 3

Sassie
Pros-- Easy to use and navigate. Best for finding shops. Has some self schedule. Good layout to see which shops you have to do, what shops you have done, and what shops have been paid.
Cons- Reports have to upload one pic at a time. Can't see entire report at once always is based on check responses. Have to contact schedule for reschedules.

Prophet
Pros-- All shops are self assign. Can self reschedule most shops.
Cons-- Can be difficult finding shops as not all in area come up and have to search outside area and check of your area at times. No map to see where shops are. Hard to do routing. Not easy to get contact info for scheduler. Rating system is hidden and unknown to shopper.

Shop Metrics
Pros-- Easy to search for shops. Lets you know what shops have been approved for pay and which have yet to be editied. Lets you see finished shops by payment cycle.
Cons- entering shops can be annoying as questions that require comments must be entered before you can move to next question.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
