I don't know if it was posted here, but I installed: [
getlazarus.com]
Lazarus Form Recovery
I never really thought about it until today. I was a good 25 minutes into a Sassie shop report and had many yes/no and several narrative boxes filled in. I never saved and I was forced away from the computer for over 20 minutes. The save box was gone. The countdown timer was at 0:00.
I did something you would never do. I clicked the reload screen button on the Firefox address bar and to my amazement, everything I typed in and every form including date and time was preserved!
This is a plugin
*EVERY* person who fills in a shop report for a Sassie shop should have installed.
The weird side effect is that you don't get the 30 minute warning pop-up. You loose the ability to rotate pictures and the save current shop button is gone after 30 minutes.
Don't fret, just click reload page and you get your timer and rotate pics back and the option to save again and you
DO NOT LOOSE A SINGLE THING!
For filling out a Sassie shop, this is the best thing since sliced bread.
IF I DID NOT HAVE THIS INSTALLED, I would have lost the entire report!

Remember the last time you lost everything you'd typed into that web-form? And there didn't seem to be any way to get it back? Well, there's one sure way to make sure nothing like that ever happens again; you just need to
Lazarus auto-saves web-forms as you type, so if a server times out, your cat wanders across the keyboard, you close the page by accident, or anything else goes wrong, you can simply return to that page, click the Lazarus icon next to the form, and select what you want to recover. It's just that easy.
