Is this for real? BOA shop pay $65 What's the catch?

I have applied for a checking account opening shop. To open the account requires a deposit of $25 min. The MSC said they will pay $65 for opening a checking account. No other details/guidelines are given. So I'm suppose to go to the bank, open a checking account with a min of $25, evaluate the service, fill out the report and then receive $65 for the (accepted) shop. Sounds like there is a catch in there somewhere. Has anyone else done these shops?

You might want to check out how long you have to have the account open as you can have early closing fees and also what the minimum balance on the account is or there may be additional fees. The last one I did I had to deposit $100 so I wouldn't be charged the minimum balance fee.
I did one. I haven't been paid yet, but I was told it is in for payment now so expect it anytime now. The info didn't state how long you had to keep it opened, but I asked and was told to keep it open for 2 months. You have to think about monthly fees and such, and that is easy to overlook.
OP, they are only paying $65.00 in your area? I have seen them ranging from $75 to $90 near me. Some checking accounts require a high minimum balance or direct deposit of a regular paycheck to avoid the monthly fees so I advise checking ahead of time.
You can get around all of their service fees if you ask enough questions. Bare is good for the fee.
