Do you ever want to tell editors to @&$€ off?
I once had it were I kept being told they needed more information. I kept giving it to them until finally I told them I had no more information I could give them and if they weren't going to accept it that was ok with me. It was accepted and I have never accepted that type of shop again. I had only accepted it because it had a big bonus.

In another thread started by another forum member, they admitted that they wrote the wrong time in their report. They did not report the shop's start time but the time on the purchase receipt instead. People make mistakes all the time. Having to state the date and time in your report AND in the narrative is just a check and balance system.
What about when you get an email asking questions that were not in the instructions or in the original report? That's just wrong.
You aren't the consultant for the client. You are merely a shopper for the consultant. The consultant and / or client wants the reports written in a specific manner. Either do the work, soak in their comments and correct your work to their likings, or don't accept work from these MSC's altogether. Quite simple.
Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
Surprisingly enough, it is not always the shopper. It took several weeks for a shop I had performed to get edited and accepted. I suspect it was the same MSC as the OP. Because of their quirks, I had been through every question to make sure I answered the 'yes', 'no' and 'na' in the narrative. There were additional details because the shop did not evolve normally.
The editor did not send me any emails but I note today that the editor has scored the shop as an 8/10 with a bunch of blah blah blah about providing details. Because I KNOW they want details, the narratives were quite extensive to do just that. My reaction is that I got this editor's standard response and there is very little reason to work further with that company, even though they are on the phone almost every month begging because they have evidently alienated every other shopper in the area.

Sybil, I'm not in the forums to be told I am lazy. The date and time are just one of the things she came back with. I am in the forums for support and to listen to other peoples experiences.
