A strange reply from a scheduler.

I keep getting all these emails from a particular scheduler, can you please help me do this shop.

I replied that these shops are too far from where I live to make it worth my while.

I received this reply:

Yeah I just am doing here and there to try to catch as many as I can. Thanks!

Thanks,

I can't understand what that reply means. Is it English?

"Functional illiteracy" comes to mind, though I suspect she is just throwing off the email with her fingers not flying as fast as the thought she wishes to convey. The reply that always annoyed me was the explanation for sending me job posts for 3000 miles away being that they though perhaps I was going there or knew someone there who could do their cheap shop.

My favorite was when a scheduler from CA asked me to do a shop in the northern part of my state and I told him it was too far to go. He responded that he didn't care to learn about my state.
I also get out of state emails, and when complained, was told, just delete, not a big deal.

Live consciously....
Irene: I find that some of these companies send every single state, it is really almost like spam. If I am out all day, it takes forever to go through this junk.
Some of the scheduling companies send me emails for states that are thousands of miles away from me and don't even have my state included.
I can't figure out why some companies send only within your radius (like Trendsource) and these others, (alot of scheduling Co's.), can't assume you won't be going on a 400 + mile job for 12.00......geez!!

yes sassie is really bad about that... but whatever... my email has 15000 emails and growing so...

shopping north west PA and south west ny
I've gotten regular emails from Ann Michaels for shops that were across the country for a year and a half, never seeing anything in my state, let alone close to where I live. I was tempted many, many times to have them take me off their list, but I would always say "you never know".

Last month, out of the blue, I got an email offering two shops within 5 miles of my house paying $50 each.

So it's true. You just never know.
