May have just hit the wall with MFI

An interesting thing happened within the last 24 hours. I was perusing my MF job board and found a FF shop that fit my schedule. There were several others in the same city for different dates, as well as others in some other cities. When I clicked through to claim this one it went through then went back to the big board as usual. However this time I noticed that ALL FF shops now vanished from my board. Some retail and airport shops remained. Who knows why but at this point I'll just chalk it up as another data point to the MF mystery. I have a handful scheduled over the next two weeks anyway, it's probably better for my health to slow down on the stuff anyway. :-)

Oh, here's the obligatory

Sorry to hear about your dog, hopefully you get him back safe..bastards. I still do not understand why one of the largest MSCs has one of the most worthless websites. The job board search never works right and the reporting system is a joke. I hate the fact that I have to search within a 200 mile radius just to find jobs 15 miles from my house and they have one webpage per question which makes entering their reports take that much longer. I guess they spent all of their IT budget on electronically submitted CPIs.

They spend all their budget recruiting new shoppers to replace everyone they've deactivated without cause.

They are the only msc without a toll free fax number and yes they will drop you for no reason given regardless of how many successful shops you did for them.
It looks incredibly unprofessional that they do not even list their street address on their website too...

On the bright side, your favorite clients of their's will likley sign on with another msc next time their contract ends. Most clients will change msc's.
Currently they account for about 40% of my shops, but that was front-loaded when I first started less than a month ago. I actually like their job board more than any others, not necessarily their data entry portal, though. Oh well, plenty of fish to fry :-)
I want to help you organize the search for your dog. Please tell us when you missed the dog, and if any clues were left. We need a complete description of the dog, along with a current photo and any names to which the dog may answer. For example, Butch, Cut That Out, Get Out of Here, and NO NO Don't You Dare. Which way do you think the kidnappers went when they took your dog? And, lastly, how much is the ransom?

The dog's name is Dammit ("Dammit, get out of that!" "Dammit, go lay down!"winking smiley. The kidnappers only left a note saying that I had 24 hours to complete 10 bonus-free, $5 gas station audits, including 24 pictures per audit and signatures from all employees and customers I notice during the audits, and if I should so much as forget to buy one location-proving bottle of Diet Mr. Pibb the deal's off.
OK, now we know the ransom for Dammit. They're demanding a lot, but I know you can handle it and I know you'll deliver. Start right now on those audits so you can meet all the requirements and deadlines. They probably hope you screw up somewhere so they can keep Dammit. I'm sure he/she is a sterling dog and they don't want to give him/her back. I shop for Market Force, too, and now that I know they have a kidnap crew I'm worried about my yard cats. I'm scared when they start kidnapping my cats they won't take enough of them, and they won't take the right cats. What do you suppose I can do to up the ante here so they'll take more cats? Of course, I don't intend to pay the ransom but they don't have to know. Also, can you think of any way to get them to take all the ferals and strays and throw aways and leave Oliver Drab and Billy Bob for me? The three of us are SO tired of this crowd around the pans at feed time.

Both of you guys, that's just too flippin funny!

Thank you all! Makes the whole picture so much brighter to know how rotten.... but there is a bright side!
Update: Refreshed the big board today and the only FF is in a city well over 50 miles away, not even in my search radius. Just a data point, don't know what to make of it.
If you see a shop elsewhere then you have not been removed from the client. It may well be that what happened was that some other shopper was faster on the trigger finger and snagged the job you were attempting to self assign. Usually, however, only one person gets to have the shop open at a time for the qualifier and then shop selection.
Mary, I just got home from a tedious auto dealership where I wouldn't take a test drive with the turbin clad 2nd. that I was pawned off too....probably won't accept report, since I didn't accept test drive, oh well...now to find your most recent post, I am laughing my tush off,,,thank you so much!!

MarketForce booted me,just slammed the cyberspace door on my nose, because horror of horror, I worked in Vegas and then applied in L.A., which is a huge no no...no one told me. I can't work for them, and to them I say, thank you.

This is in no way meant to scare the newbies....put in your time, work for MF, and you'll learn to appreciate MSC's like RSG, NSS and others....old timers like me get grouchy, and have earned the right to do so....smiling smiley

Live consciously....
