Market Force - no more link to new shops?

I logged on to MF this morning and I no longer have a link to view new shops. I checked their FAQs and they had a list of 3 reasons why this might happen, but I don't think any of them apply to me. My email & phone number is on file with them (they are both listed in my personal profile on the site). I have recently completed 3 shops for them and all my paperwork was listed as verified with no follow-up questions, so I assume I have not inadvertently violated their rules. And I have not requested to be removed as a shopper.

I sent a message to their help desk to address the problem. My concern is that I have 4 gas station audits scheduled with them for Sunday that are still showing up on my account. I don't want to be out the time & mileage if there is going to be an issue with Market Force. Has any one had this happen before? How long should I expect it will take them to contact me?

The only time that happened to me was when they took the golden archs away. They did not show anymore even though I still had two to shops. When I completed the shops, I emailed and asked why, I was told I was not allowed to shop them anymore. The helpdesk is very rude. They will not get in contact with you! They are very hard to work with!

My golden arches are gone too. How is it my fault that it took over six minutes to get my order because there was only one register open?
Hmm I don't know - I have turned in some pretty bad shop times for them and not (yet) been deactivated. They were the first company I shopped for over 13 years ago (under their former name). The only time I have been questioned on those shops is when (and I swear this is true) my inside and outside times were exactly the same. I reported it as is and they questioned me about four times on it. I didn't back down. I didn't even notice they were the same because I did actual times and hadn't done the math to know that both were the same elapsed times.

It could be possible that they are terminating you and will no longer be offering you any future shops. That is how it pretty much happens. That link to select New Shops will just disappear. You won't receive a formal email or anything. If you inquire as to why, you will get a standard form email basically telling you that they aren't giving a reason.
Why doesn't MF help desk say why they are deactivating a shopper? It hasn't happened to me, yet, but expect it at some point. Why woudn't MF want the shopper to know why? Whatever the reason, I would want to know.
I haven't been deactivated yet, although, because of the number of shops I've done, I'm expecting it anytime. I know others who have been deactivated. No telling why they don't want to tell, but the big issue seems to be that they don't want to discuss or explain. It's easier for them to just say that it is confidential rather than to give a reason. Giving a reason opens a dialogue in most cases. Most deactivated shoppers who are told a reason for deactivation would want to ask additional questions to learn exactly why and exactly which shop and exactly what the shopper did. I certainly would - I would have a lot of questions and would probably want to argue the point a little with explanations. It appears that they are totally over you when they deactivate you and there is not going to be any discussion. I think they are not planning to reverse their decision and aren't willing to discuss or argue.

I could be wrong - I've been wrong before - but it just seems like they are done and want to avoid spending any more time with the deactivated shopper.
Actually, I DID receive a reply last night. The Help Desk wrote me back and said I had been deactivated because I had flagged them as spam with my ISP. I never did that, though. I went back and looked at all the emails that I had flagged as spam for the past couple months to be sure I hadn't done it accidentally, but nothing. I went through the procedure with my ISP to be sure that any emails from Market Force were allowed, and wrote the Help Desk back explaining the situation. We'll see if they reinstate me or not.

I am not knowing what to do about all the assignments I have booked with them this weekend. They are still showing up on my assignment page even though I cannot see new shops. If they don't reactivate me, will I still get paid? I don't think I want to risk it - these are gas station audits that require a decent amount of driving. What would you guys do?
Because they didn't deactivate you deliberately, I am guessing you will be reinstated. Regardless of whet. her you are reinstated or not, if you want to do the shops already assigned to you, you still can or you could cancel them. Being unable to accept future shops will not affect your ability to perform the ones still assigned to you and will not prevent you from getting paid for shops performed. I would go ahead and do the shops.
Thanks, AustinMom. I am learning this business and appreciate the advice of those who know the ropes!
A follow up: Market Force just reinstated me. I have to say, my experience with their Help Desk was drastically different than what others in this thread have reported. They communicated with me quickly, explained exactly what the problem was, resolved the issue and were friendly & professional the whole time.
The reason your experience was different is that the reason for your deactivation was different. The people who have been deactivated and gotten no explanation have been those who were deactivated for a reason, and many time MF is unwilling to specify what the reason is. But these are shoppers who MF intentionally deactivated. You were deactivated because apparently some of their e-mails went to your spam box so they made the assumption that you were no longer available to work for them. They wanted you back. Those who have complained here of being deactivated with no explanation are those MF does not seem willing to take back.
Thanks for giving me this information, I had the same thing happen to me and it's frustrating because I don't what caused the problem. I look at my personal profile and the page is gone, I can't access it
I've had that happen when it was a coding error and the help desk was sweet as pie. You should be fine!
Their website can be whacky.

I put a 200 mile radius and my zip.

Shops show up, but if I put 100 mile radius, MORE shops appear and I can do them too.

Weird weird!

*I thought maybe this was why you couldn't see anymore shops. My mistake.

MF deactivated me one time. I had not been shopping very long, and had to cancel a shop for a family emergency. I emailed the Help Desk and got a very quick reply. Seems this particular shop's screening questions included something about my understanding that if I were to cancel the shop I would be removed as a shopper. A few weeks had passed since I had answered the screening questions and had forgotten that little detail. I was honest with them that I had totally forgotten that (and hence had to ask why I was deactivated) and explained my situation. They reinstated me.

MF, it would be helpful to have access to the screening questions in some type of format after accepting a shop, especially if one of the points addressed could get a shopper deactivated. Just a thought.
If you've worked with a particular scheduler, call her or him. If you have a relationship with the scheduler, and they go to bat for you, you can get reinstated.
