I had two shops stuck in holding as of this morning, one for ten days and the other for fifteen days, with My History showing the shops but not finalized, and their receipts' links remaining visible at the bottom of the home page. Due to very exceptional circumstances onsite, both had required alternative photos instead of receipts, so an editor probably put them in holding to try to figure out later.
I emailed the individual whose contact information is at the top of the job search board, asking if she could help me figure out what more was needed for those shops. She replied back within two hours and had taken care of everything. They're approved and I'll be paid.
I've never had anything but positive communications with her, both by email and a few times by phone from the field.
Back when Cori first "updated" their system late December through mid-January, there was a scheduler assigned to my state that seemed to stick to the script that the trouble was on my end, not theirs. However, after a phone call, again asking for the earlier referenced supervisor, the supervisor acknowledged they were having trouble.
Within a week of that I tried pressing that compatibility button on my browser, and the computer headaches went away.
All that said, look for technical workarounds that have worked for others, and maintain the patience with them that you'd like them to maintain with you (the schedulers honestly truly don't have the problems within their own system that we're having when we try to access their system from our computers.)
When new technical problems arise, let them know, but recognize that at the scheduler level they probably can't even replicate it on their end to be able to see it all, let alone fix it with the press of a button.
A royal PITA? Sure. Should Cori fix their system? Yep.
But patience is doubly virtuous here because the more shoppers who quit in disgust, the more shops there will be and the higher the pay will be for those who wait it all out.
And when your reports are on hold, seek understanding and offer your help in resolving any concerns before you go in loaded for bear.
You'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
You’ll get paid more often, too.
