Marketforce nickel-and-diming me

So I just realized I've been shorted on a couple of my burger shops for these folks. Fee is usually $6, reimbursement $11. (yeah, I actually take them at these prices as I like the food and it's right near home.) I always spend at least the reimbursement.

Actual reimbursement was odd amounts like $8.68, etc.........Has Marketforce done this to you? Obviously, it's tiny amounts, but with the tiny shop fees, really??????????

I've never had that problem as long as I am including only the specified items--the entrée, the drink & the fries. They do indicate that the shake is in addition to the soda if you choose to get a shake.
Hi, Kathie.
Are you including any additional items (like a spouse's or child's food) in your amount to be reimbursed? As Flash said, they will only cover the required purchase. When I have other people's items in the same receipt, I calculate the percentage of sales tax that applies to my reimbursed amount and include that -- but not the entire sales tax amount.

MF reimbursement is usually --->"up to...." If you stay under the reimbursed then the reimbursed is "what you spend".
Typically we go together, I order a burger for me first, then whatever my companion wants. I get a small fries which we share and a soda for me and a cup for water for my companion. My bill is usually around $15-16 and because I got the burger, fries and soda, my part is usually around $11.02 and I am reimbursed $11. Because they want MY order first on the ticket, if my companion wants a hot dog (a lot cheaper), if I ordered it first they would reimburse the hot dog, small fries and drink as if that was my order. Am I always the one who drinks the soda? That shall remain a mystery--the soda is mine.
Ok, I know EXACTLY what shop you are referring to because it's my fave- like you said, I like the food. I normally go with my signifcant other but he orders and pays seperately. I had this happen on one of the first shops of these I did and it I got less than the $11 reimbursement because we ordered together. I got the large soda, he got the small- they obviously paid for the small and the least expensive entree and fry order. See what I mean? Keep 'em seperate going foward. smiling smiley

I love Marketforce. They may be lower paying, but they always have a ton of various shops in my area and they don't have any "you must wait 180 days before doing another one of these shops" rules.
My last shop as I recall the guidelines requires as at least states a companion should order separately.

You folks must be working for some high paying companies if you think MF is a low paying company. I don't think so at all. yawning smiley
Canuck- MF is one of my lower paying companies unless I can snap up a shop close to deadline. I like their shops because there are always a lot to choose from in my area, they are easy to work with and the reports are a breeze. I consider a $7 shop fee and an $11 reimbursement a lower pay compared to my $50 car dealership shops and casual restaurant shops with full reimbursement and shop fees of $25. I make my money in volume with MF.
I've done shops for Market Force at base pay and I've done some with really nice bonuses. I have only good things to say about the company. I think they pay whatever is required to get the jobs done, and if you're lucky enough to be in the right place it can be a great connection.

They are absolutely one of my favorite companies. They're not a big percentage of my profit but their shops are easy, I usually enjoy them, the schedulers are all great, they pay when they say they will (actually usually early), and I've always been treated fairly by them.

I feel the same way. They are a great company to work for, IMO. Never a payment problem either. smiling smiley

I love the schedulers. The ones on shore I mean. winking smiley
