Sassie Emails

Has anyone ever gotten this message on any home page of an MSC on Sassie platform?

"Your email address "XXX" has been placed on our "DO NOT EMAIL" list because your email provider has repeatedly rejected our emails (or has sent us a demand to stop sending you emails - this is common with AOL accounts). As a result, you are no longer receiving shop email offers."

I do not use AOL, I have not changed email addresses - ever - and I have completed the steps that they recommend taking (going to Jobslinger and "protecting" my email address). Didn't work. Any other suggestions? I don't rely a ton on Sassie email offers, but on the other hand I sometimes get some good assignments this way and I want to stay in the loop!! smiling smiley

Thanks in advance!

I have had this three times. I added them to my e-mail contacts the first time, then discovered it was just a bunch of bull to get you to pay them to send you your emails. It is a scam to have you pay them so they secure your email. You get your emails just the same with out paying them. I have only one company with the issue and I have several other Sassie accounts that do not promote this trap.
The same thing has happened to me over the past few days with several Sassie companies. I just ignored it.
It happened to me today with GFK. I wrote it off to their schedulers difficulty navigating Sassie. They are common abusers. So bad I frequently turn off email notifications to save having to delete 15 to 40 emails per day. At the suggestion of another shopper I turned notifications back on a couple of weeks ago in case they had some heavily bonused audits. It's getting turned off again because the volume of useless emails would practically qualify them as spam.

I received that message too. I'm with about 30 MSCs that use SASSIE, Each MSC that I logged on to their Job Board, I saw that same message. Are you sure it is just a scam?
I don't think it's a scam. You can "protect" your email by following the steps they suggest on the free Jobslinger site, so I'm not sure what the scam would be. I think I will reach out to a scheduler or two and see if they can tell what's going on with my accounts since I'm getting the message from more than MSC.

Thanks all and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I turned off all my email notifications from sassie. I am leaving mystery shopping for now and having all these emails knocking on my phone, is driving me nuts. So, I turned them all off except for one. I was getting too many emails for the same shop over and over and over again. Instead of getting angry, I took care of the problem. All is good.
Second time this happened this year. I put my email address on protected list but it doesn't seem to matter. I don't have AOL address, i didn't even know they existed anymore.
Well, I finally got it straightened out. And just in time too--sure didn't want to miss the latest deluge of Intellishop Sports!! emails. tongue sticking out smiley

It happens when your email provider refuses an email and it "bounces" like a bad check back to the email system.

For those using free webmail type email, if enough people flag the sender as spam, they will bounce the emails and you get this error message.

Use a real email account that is not auto-spam blocking. I use my ISP's email that does not filter ANYTHING and use a real email client and keep all my email on my computer.
