Sassie Not always Sassy

I've never registed a complaint with any of my MSC regarding their use of Sassie. However, when I think about the time required of shoppers to file a good survey, it is frustrating to repeatedly read the guidelines and repeatedly have a window pop up stating that the guidelines must be read prior to opening the survey. Also, the system appears to drop information I know I have entered and requires re-entering.

Overall, I like the program but believe it needs some IT fine-tuning.

Eh... nothing is perfect. I love the ISS app -- but the "network error" (hit refresh... wait... enter a response...) "network error" (hit refresh etc.etc. repeat) thing gets annoying. The shops always seem to go through but it's annoying and you'd think they'd have fixed it.

The having to download the guidelines thing can be annoying... but honestly it's a good safeguard, and a nice "slow your roll" reminder if you get whipping through really fast.

Honestly having to download the guidelines from Sassie is less of an annoyance to me than the ISS "network error" glitch that just won't go away lol... my biggest issue with Sassie is that their mobile apps are a joke. It's 2016 -- you'd think they could merge their platform into really truly awesome mystery shopping app where you could manage all your shops, message schedulers, view payment status etc. directly in your phone, and directly in the app -- think all of the features of JobSlinger Plus, with the slickness of ISS -- but without the "network errors" -- now that would be awesome. Everyone uses their phones or tablets now -- and this is an "on the go" sort of job. It only makes sense that the largest software platform would be fully invested in mobile.

Honestly if you want to see a REALLY well designed app, check out Merchandiser by Survey.com -- if you haven't used it, Survey.com is sort of a "half-breed" app that's a cross between a basic auditing app like EasyShift or Gigwalk and a larger MSP. It is VERY well designed, and it wouldn't take much tweaking to turn it into a fully featured MSP app. Better designed than any app from Sassie, and more reliable than ISS.

If you've got several shops with the same scenario for the same company that uses Sassie, you don't actually have to open and read those guidelines after the first time. Read and print out the first set. After that, you click on guidelines, close it out, and refresh the shop log page. You can then access your report. BUT you must make sure that they are actually all EXACTLY the same scenarios!
If you don't save your work every 30 minutes with Sassie, your work will get lost. Just get in the habit of saving, that will save you a lot of headache in the future.

It is annoying to have to open the guidelines through Sassie; especially when the scheduler sends them to you.

Oh, and spell check won't work after you upload a photo or receipt until you save your work and reopen the report.
