Something new on BestMark receipts

As of yesterday, we are supposed to put the name of every associate that we interact with on the receipt we send in.

No problem. Scan it and print. Mark up the copy. Scan the copy and submit.

What mrcomputer said. lol

Today I Will Choose Joy!

"Finally, whatever things are good, true, noble, lovely, of good report...if there be any virtue, if there be any praise...think on these things." ....It's a command, not a suggestion!
Until they request your "original" which HAS happened. They ask you to keep a copy and send the original.

Not worth the hassle for the shop in the first place. Best is notorious for saying no so and so name was working that day when the report is not 100% positive....
Interesting. I have never had bestmark request an original receipt...

I saw that! I have a shop to do sunday, and now they are asking me to write the associates names on the receipt. I thought to myself "are you serious"?
I have been emailed by Bestmark but I have yet to accept any shops, b/c the shops in my area is automotive or fine dining.

What kinds of shops are they offering, where a return is possible from us?

Even if you did return something and the associate name is on the receipt, what does that mean? If possible get a gift receipt from the client:-)

The store usually gives you back the receipt anyway plus a return receipt. So really what the problem?

BM is just trying to make sure WE assoicated with someone in the store, to verify people working that day in the store. I don't think it means much.
Just buy something small with the receipt, something you wouldn't return, anyway. I usually get a drink. Shopping is thirsty work sometimes, and that's my treat... Other than oggling all the latest toys! winking smiley
Best Mark is a great company. Their editors will call you on occasion and are really goof folks. They might want to rephrase something or get clarification on something. I always buy something small. It's NOT buying something HUGE that is my problem! LOL! (I love electronics. I whimper like a pup leaving the store with a coke.)
Me too! The salesman did such a great job I had a tough time leaving without the TV I had no interest in buying when I entered the store.
Shelly, I always view that as a positive both for the employee and for me as a shopper when I leave the store trying to figure out where to put the thing. We both have done our jobs convincingly!

Edited to add: I am not above mentioning in a report that the employee presented the item in such a convincing manner that I left the store actually considering the purchase.

It was polar opposite of part 1 of that shop.

I always hate it when it is really a great shop they forget to some of the requirements and you have to give those no answers. But I really try to talk up the positive whenever possible in the narrative. I think this one had a how likely would you be to buy from this salesperson which I was able to give a glowing review on.
My husband and I ended up buying a Sony Bravia internet TV because I'd drooled over it so many times while shopping the electronics stores' home theater departments. When we had an unexpected windfall, instead of opting for a vacation in Florida, we bought that TV. It's been one of the best purchases these two geeks could have made.

Guys, if they ask for the name of the clerk on the receipt, don't freak out cause a problem where none exists. Just do it.

However, confirm your fears with them FIRST! Email a person, state your case, state your question and place your return email in the message. Sometimes we as MS create our own messes where otherwise, none would exist.
