Rich Koster is unquestionably the biggest pri**head and a total dou*he bag that has NO BUSINESS being an editor.

A few years back I had referred another shopper to do the negotiation shops. She did the training and was assigned three.
She negotiated discounts of between $500-$1000 on the first visit and another $250-$500 on the second visit for each shop.

Rich rejected the shops and said she would have to go back for a third visit on each to negotiate deeper discounts and what she had received so far was not large enough compared to what other shoppers were negotiating.

First of all, can someone show me where in the shop guidelines it states that one shoppers results are compared to another to determine acceptability?
and second
Can show me in the guidelines where it says a MINIMUM discount is required to be negotiated. It says "attempt" to get the largest discount you can.

I told her to stand her ground. She had two offers on each, two discounts on each and all required information was on the offer sheets.

Rich refused to accept the reports and responded back with the following--
and I am quoting

"The purpose of these shops is to act like your going to buy the car today and negotiate a discount that a real buyer would accept.

I do not know of a single person that would walk out of dealership with a $1000 discount and think they were getting the best available discount.

No sane person would purchase a car with such small discount. You must lead a pitiful existence if you allowing people to take advantage of you that way. I will not allow you to take advantage of this program for a quick buck. Either go back and get a REAL discount or I will deactivate you."

She was deactivated. And I promptly stopped applying for any shops for this MSC after I saw how he treated her.

I had her forward that email from Rich to Lisa who responded Rich was the editor and made the decision on which shops were acceptable or not. She did not respond on sickening his comments were.
Wow at the post above mine! And I thought Alyson was their worst employee. I sent a 24 hour advance notice about not being able to do a shop but said I could do it the next day. I did not receive a reply. It was removed with a citation. I e-mailed back and Katie? replied. She said Alyson had issued the citation and removed the shop. She said she'd forward my original email to Ayson so she could see that I contacted them beforehand. I never received a reply so I e-mailed Alyson directly a few times and finally got a response saying that they expect shoppers to commit to any shop that they assign themselves too and proceeded to remove me from the shops I had left...one which I was driving to.

It turns out that they have no organized system. If you e-mail your scheduler directly from the contact link, that won't prevent Alyson from going in the next morning and removing your shop if your scheduler has not updated your due date.
