Mall Audit

Hello -

I just got an email for a mall audit. It is for this Saturday, between the hours of 10am - 4pm. The pay is $60, with a $15 reimbursement for a tally counter. I am supposed to tally the number of female shoppers, over the age of 14, who are carrying a purse, bag or pushing a stroller.

This is for the entire 6 hours. There will be a 20 minute lunch break.

Has anyone done of these before? Is it worth the money/time?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ten dollars an hour doesn't sound worth it to me. Make sure you factor in your drive/report time. I've seen plenty of other exit interviews and the like that pay anywhere from $15 to $20 an hour and up.

Thanks for the advice. I decided not to do it. $10 is pretty low, not to mention I don't think I could sit for 6 hours in the mall. I would need to buy something smiling smiley . Thanks again!
