Goodwill shops

I did one with the donation and purchase I submitted my receipt for the purchase but did not know where to submit my slip for the donation. I sent a message asking how do I submit the donation slip. I never heard anything. Today I received a email about the job being available. I did the job just over a week ago So I went to the site and I noticed my shop was received but in the reviewer comments it said I would not be paid it said this shop is over a week old you are required to make any adjustments within 24 hours of completing the shop.I didn't send a copy of the donation slip because I didn't think it should be sent with the purchase receipt and I didn't see anywhere to send in the donation receipt. So I assume if anyone does these shops you have to send the purchase receipt and the donation receipt together.

As I recall, both receipts get entered at the bottom of the form. At either rate you MUST submit both receipts or you will not get paid. You could try emailing Jennifer and see what she says.
There's only a place for one receipt in the report, so you must scan or photograph both the purchase receipt and the donation receipt together and submit.
I didn't know that. I submitted the shop and purchase receipt and then I sent a message asking about the donation slip, and never received an answer. On the log on page I checked a few days after I did the report and it said received and the amount of my purchase. Than I forgot about it. Today I got a email about the posting of shops I checked and than I noticed the remark the editor wrote. This was only the second job in all my years of not accepted. The other one was I entered the shop 4 minutes early.. I thought about just scanning the donation slip to the scheduler ,, I will forget about it.
Thanks
Mary, Did you find in the guidelines that you should check for hand sanatiser, dust bunnies, clothes in the dressingo room and such? My instructioons said BE SURE to get the associates name and or description than assisted you. Also, get the name of the donation, customer service center person. Then in the report it was not ask for. However, every thing else was ask for that was not in the instructions. Go figgure, I do not like that kind of business.
No one can tell you which company does Goodwill Shops. It violates the agreement we sign withsome Mystery shopping companies and this forum's rules.
We have to keep signing up with companies to discover who their clients are.
I assume Goodwill is shopped in Canada also but have never seen a job. I need to tidy up my list but I am probably signed up with 75 companies. So, since there are Goodwills on my way to visit a couple of different family members, I will keep signing up with more companies.
Thanks Prince. Will keep signing up! I was in awe that even Goodwill got mystery shopped!
When I've done Goodwill shops (over 30 of them)....there has been a place to upload each receipt individually.

Goodwill is shopped by more than one company, so it depends on your location. I have performed a bunch of Goodwill shops and have two scheduled this month. The MSC in this area who shops Goodwill provides only one receipt upload. I have always photographed the two receipts in one photo.
I was just gonna say, I just did my first one and there was no mention of the donation slip...I just had to have the receipt from my store purchase....
Ya'll are going to think that I am throwed off, but I thought that you were talking about the tire place, not the 2nd hand store. It took all the way the the last post for it to sink in. Wow! I must be having a rough day. LOL!!!

On the MSPA site there is a job search function and it lists an MSC with "Thrift Store Evaluations." I won't tell you who it is, but you can check it out yourself at:

I've done two of these shops in my area. I was thrilled when I saw them on the job board of an MSC that I signed up with recently. I donate all of our unwanted items to Goodwill several times per year and I also like shopping there because I know my money is going to a good cause. Honestly, I was surprised that a non-profit uses mystery shopping, but it really does make sense. The better their customer service, the more donations they will receive and the more successful their stores will be at generating revenue to support their programs.

In the guidelines for that MSC I shopped for, I believe it says to scan the purchase and donation receipt side-by-side.

Stck, I'm afraid you were misinformed. Goodwill is not a franchise. Its a non-profit organization that has regional chapters and local stores to support the work in that community. The money they make by selling donated items helps fund their programs. So you can't buy into and operate a Goodwill store like a McDonald's for example. The store is run by the organization itself.

I hope this helps!
Can someone tell me if these are done monthly? I did a few of these recently. I really liked the assignments and there are several locations near me.

These are shopped by more than one company, depending where you live. In my location, they are shopped monthly.
