What shopping company do you recommend for bank and gas station shop in Winnipeg? How about spa salon? I am a novice mystery shopper. I hope someone could help me.

Welcome to the forum, rams1005. The best way to research the type of shops you want is to do a search here on the forum to identify which companies shop those types of jobs. Then you can sign up with them and see if they have those shops in Winnipeg. Many clients are shopped by multiple mystery shopping companies depending on the region of the country, so it would be difficult for anyone here on the forum to tell you which company shops those in your area. A forum member who lives and works in Winnipeg is probably currently performing those shops and is your competition, so they may be reluctant to give you a short list of their favorites. There is a lot of competition for mystery shopping jobs. A shopper's list of client MSCs usually represents many hours of research.

Another thing you can do to try to locate jobs in your area before signing up with companies is to search JobSlinger (free) to identify those advertising in your area. The jobs you see will likely be gone before you can apply, but it will show you which companies are performing jobs in your area and you can sign up with them.

I've found the easiest way is to just sign up with a lot of companies - a great list of 200 companies is at the blue link at the bottom of the page, Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies. Signing up with 50-100 gives you a good volume of shops to choose from. Signing up with 100+ is better.

I am in Alberta. Some companies that have gas station shops here are:
performalogics
market force
consumer connection
sqm
maritz

Some of them are not very often and they disappear quickly. So, if you sign up with those companies you'll be ready the next time they post gas stations.
There are gas stations I haven't seen a shop for yet. So, I keep looking for more companies to sign up with.
