working with my little Android RAZR and no car sad smiley

New shopper here... any suggestions for a free android app that helps fill out applications? You know, like an auto filler? I want to speed up the search for and apply to MSC s....but WOW how tedious is it to fill out those sometimes lengthy apps? Also, if there are any other "tools" that I might need? How about this question... since this is considered a "small business," would I be able to take out a small loan maybe for "startup costs" and be able to deduct this at the end? (Printer, laptop, nice fancy phone!?) Of course I understand there are specifications as to how these items would be used as directly as possible concerning my business....also looking into the ideas of how I can use my extra bedroom as an office ...please give me some feedback so I can either get over my crazy ideas or actually build on them....meeting with a business counselor from SCORE next week also...thanks to everyone who has posted anything on this forum...a blessing indeed

IMHO - don't take out a loan. Buy things as you earn money. Yes there is a way to use all those things for deductions/expenses. Start with jobs that don't require you to spend money like banks or shopping for cell phones. Do the reports at the library. - libraries are good for that here.
just my 2 cents.
A small business loan is probably a bad idea. If you are using a credit card for small MS-related expenses (pens, clipboards, paper, printer ink, gasoline, bus passes) you are probably fine as long as you pay on that card as much as you can possibly afford. I would only use credit for significant MS-related expenses (digital camera, computer) only once you have been shopping for at least a month or two and the lack of those items is really holding you back from further opportunities. A vehicle I would probably wait until you've been shopping for 6 to 9 months, and even then, you just want basic transportation that won't break down on you for a while.

Whatever you do, don't overuse the credit cards if you have them. If you have or can get $1,000 or more available credit, you should be able to do enough shops that don't require a car and don't require you to pay cash to get by for a while. (I'm assuming you're at least in a city with decent public transit. Cab fare will almost certainly eat whatever profits you might make unless you are bonused that amount to do the shop to begin with.)
