How many shops in a day...

is usual for you? I can only do just one or two... I have mad respect for you route shoppers. I can't even begin to imagine how crucial that kind of organization is.

I only do 1 or 2 at a time. I've done 3 and up before in a day, and sometimes I mix up the names and details and realize it afterwards when I submit the report. However, all my shops get accepted and I don't get any negative feedback.

My max. for a day is 3. I don't want to get confused on my reports especially if they're like shops. Phone shops I'll do more of.
I did seven today. I record my shops as it is legal in my state. I also write notes as soon as I get back to my car for things that aren't recorded, such as the employee's description. Today was a really smooth day, luckily. I had them done in three hours. The reports will take longer though.
I only had three today. They were 220 miles round trip and I was home by 2:30smiling smiley

I had eight today, which is more than I usually do during the week, but these were all simple and quick. Saturdays I will do anywhere from 6-10 depending on how involved they are. I have a full time job so I usually will just do a few after work and the bulk of my shopping on the weekend.
Depends on the shop. I try to only have one or two heavy narrative write-ups maximum per day. If I can do the easy post office or other easy narrative shops in a day, that's different. I have done 4 post offices (4 max a day per guidelines), and added a non narrative food shop and a gas station or smart iPhone/Android shop, I can get in 8 - 10 shops per day. As for route shopping, that's different. That's when you let the MSC know you're route shopping and may need a little more time for the write up or ask them to accept the shops you've applied for in a certain area.

Get to know your schedulers. If you see a route forming, let them know. Say I will only do shop "A" if I can also do shops "B, C, and D" in the same area, if not, I can't do shop "A". Believe me, the schedulers will work with you if you do good work.
My record was 17, that was not phone shops either. As soon as I got home I became a writing machine and got the reports done.

This is my personal record too however once my niece was doing compliance shops and I drove and she got 33 done one day and 20 some the next. We made a weekend of it with me driving, she was able to input each shop as we drove to the next, that night we did a hotel shop so we had to get that far that day (it was an easy hotel shop...checklist and a few pictures, no special requests) The 20 shop day for her I did about 6 gas stations also but they were a special project that just required me putting ten in gas and getting two in stuff in the store and then again a checklist that everything was in order. We had a blast that weekend but were tired at the end of it.

Set a new record yesterday. Not that I am keeping track but it seemed like the most I have ever done in a day. Started off with lunch at a casual dining place, then did a retail shop at a toy store in the mall. In the afternoon I did 2 grocery shops close to home and finished it off with a pizza delivery. I only do shopping part time and only go to places that I enjoy, so this was a lot for me to stack up in one day.
The most that I have done in one day was 6. Three of them had intensive narrative, two with 24 hour turnarounds. The other three were cell phone type shops. Google Keep and GeoVerify helped a lot.

Liz, I would go bat crap crazy if I did 17 in one day.

Actually, it was an easier day than some with less shops. It was sort of broken up into two parts. The first part of the day was pretty local and 8 of the shops were done. If I recall correctly they were pretty easy type shops (convenience stores, etc). I came home and got those all on and then my husband drove with me to the next set of 9 about an hour away. Again they weren't bad shops but had some good bonuses. This was even before I was inputting them on the phone in the car. If I did this same set now it probably would not have even seemed at all challenging.

15 in a day is my most, avg 4-5 a day, 1 is my as days I do 0 don't count. The longest day has been close to 16 hours the shortest a half hour. I think my 3 apartments shops in one day with EPMS is the longest narrative wise.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
The most I've done in a day is 19. I do a lot of shops for the same few MSCs and clients, so I know how long the shop will take and how long it will take to report. I know what notes need to be taken and I've worked out a system for keeping track of it (it's rudimentary and involves a pencil and paper--keeping notes on my phone took too long and drained my precious battery). However, if I know that the report requires a lot of narrative (but I avoid these like the plague), I'll try to keep it closer to 6-8 a day so I can be home and done before my kids get out of school. I did 90 shops in May, taking the last 10 days of the month off.
I usually try to do 5-10 shops a day. The most I've done on one day is 34, which I guess isn't bad considering I started shopping less than a month ago.
I shop about 8-10 days of the month and try not to leave the house without a minimum of 4 shops. Usually I will do between 4-10 shops on the days that I am working. I was driving way too much in the beginning to do just one shop and that became really old and put way too many miles on my vehicle. I also do not like to leave the house for under $50. Once in a while I will do only one shop if it is for a favor or because I really like the shop but not very often. Mapquest and my GPS are my friends when I am planning out the day to save on gas.
I do a min of 8 if its past my city limits. I have done 35 compliance shops before.
This weekend I have 6 lined up but since I am going out of town I'll have to do them all on Sunday. There is one that they want a rush on. So the person who said use the free internet, great idea. Might have to go to a Starbucks or something. Sunday will be be a busy day!
I usually do 3-5 a day when I am working my full time job. On the weekends and as of tomorrow when it becomes summer (I am a teacher), I will do route and do up to 10.
