HELLO!

Hi I'm Sandi and I'm a new shopper. I actually signed up about a year ago but I
just started excepting shops as now I have plenyY of free time. I got laid off
about two months ago so mystery shopping is keeping me motivated.I would love to do this full time and possibly be able to support myself on this alone.I'm not sure though. So I just wanted to stop by and say HI!

Hi Sandi,

The reality is that in very few areas are there sufficient shops and few enough shoppers to even consider this as full time income. I know a few folks who have made it full time employment in the past, but they threw in the towel last year as shop fees started tumbling, the numbers of shops (and clients) decreased and unemployment threw more and more folks into the shopper pool. To give you an idea of what I am talking about, in an average month in 2007 I needed to perform about 30 shops per month to meet or exceed my monthly goal (which was still only about 50% of monthly expenses). My goals for 2008 and 2009 are substantially the same as then. This month I have completed 47 shops and am roughly 3/4 of the way to my monthly goal. In 2008 the only month I met my goal was a month in which I did more than 60 shops. Shopping can work as supplemental income but is unlikely to develop into a full time income until the economy recovers.
