New to the Board

Hey whats up everyone. I am a 34 year od male living out in Clarksville, TN (45 minutes west of Nashville). Been mystery shopping for about 5 months now and I love it. Excited about participating on this board.

Just curious, has everyone seen a slight decrease of available assignments in their area? Or is it just out here. Seems July and August were very slow as compared to when I first started in the spring.

Hello and welcome jluntz. My July and August, to date, have not been slower. Hopefully, shop numbers pick back up for you very soon!

I have a good friend near you who shops/used to shop. The economic downturn was later arriving in your area than in many. She is only now beginning to see the empty restaurants and failing businesses that have been a part of my life here for more than a year. It is very likely that the number of clients in your area is down. Foolishly, perhaps, clients--especially retailers--are not using shops and shoppers to get themselves into tip top customer friendly states to grab what is left of consumerism.
