Hi I started my new career as mystery caller & mystery shopper last November 2014.Singaporean company hired me, they assigned me a job same month and I accomplished it accordingly, but I was shocked! when I found out that, they're just going to pay me after 90 days? Is it normal guys?they don't give me an agreement to sign. I just want to know the proper process of this new kind of career. Thanks for your ideas in advance!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Mystery shopping companies have lots of different pay schedules with most of them paying from thirty to sixty days from when the report is accepted. Some pay at 90 days. The companies will have their pay schedules posted on their website and you can take a look when you sign up. Once you get a steady flow of money coming in, you won't notice the long payment terms so much.

It is normal. Mystery shopping companies pay on their own schedules. Some do take as long as 90 days to pay. Most pay quicker than 90 days. Many companies disclose their payment terms in their shopper agreements or on their home pages, so most are open about their payment terms before shoppers accept assignments. Be sure to check each company's payment terms.
It is normal for a small minority of companies to pay that slowly. When I work for such a company, I'm more concerned about their payment record with shoppers. If shoppers say that company pays on time, I'm ok with it. If not, I look for other companies to work for.

The key words here are: WHEN THE REPORT IS ACCEPTED. Not the day you perform the shop or the day you submit your report but the day when the editor finishes editing your report and accepts it. I think a lot of shoppers overlook that little fact.

As the other posters have stated, payment schedules vary widely. My quickest payment was by PayPal the same day within hours of me submitting the report. Then I have had some companies take almost 120 days.
