Fast food shop question

Hi Gang,

I am brand new to all of this and have a lot of quetions. Here is my first one.

I have a fast food shop tomorrow where I need to shop both the drive-thru and then go inside and shop the dine-in also. I need to shop both at the same meal, same day.I am thinking that when I walk up to the counter, I will be recognized as having just shopped the drive-thru. What have some of you done to prevent being discovered as a shopper?

Hopefully you are in a climate that is already cool enough to justify a hat and coat. Do the hat and coat with the drive through, pull away, ditch the hat and coat and go inside.

I am in North Texas where it is 72 right now. No hat and coat needed.

Hi, jaini, I'm in Texas, too. I worried at first about being recognized but I've never seen anyone give me a second look when I came inside. Before you pull up to the window, pull your sun visor over so it is at the top of the open window as though you are blocking the sun coming in the drivers side window. The drive-in window is up higher than you and they will see you only from the neck down if you don't lean out. I wear a t-shirt and put a long-sleeved blue jean shirt over it. When you go in take off the shirt and just leave the t-shirt. Try not to act "guilty." Believe it or not, if they are even a little busy, they will barely notice you.

I was nervous about that the first time I did a job like that too, it still makes me nervous! If you have a good span of time you can do it in, you might want to try to do it either during breakfast or lunch when it gets extremely busy typically. I love to do breakfast times, because I love breakfast and for some reason, it's always packed in the morning, especially on a weekend, at least in my area. Try pulling up your hair, if it's long and wearing a baseball cap or some sort of hat while you're driving through and SUNGLASSES and then just take them both off before you go inside. There is a good chance they'll never even notice. smiling smiley

I've done many of those and I don't think I've ever been noticed. Most locations have different workers inside than are running the drive-thru so if it's even slightly busy the inside workers are helping their customers and not noticing who is at the drive-thru.

At some locations he drive through people can see the inside customers, at others, not. I only do the two observations ones for one a company that does the sops to check the toys given, not one that makes me take timings, check bathrooms, and stay and eat alone. But I know which in my neighborhood are like this, and prepare with sunglasses, etc. I can't wear a jacket here. LOL.
