Hello from Georgia

I tried mystery shopping in the past and did not have enough resources or jobs my style to continue. I have been mystery shopping again for about 4 months and have been very successful. I feel like there are better shops out there for me though. I almost always get perfect scores and receive great remarks from editors. I joined this forum to learn more from the pros and fine tune my approach. My goal is to compile a list of core companies whose shops benefit me the most either financially or the types of shops available. I am finding this daunting as I have found over 100 mystery shopper companies. I don't feel like applying to all 100 just to see what they offer and spreading my personal info all over the web (although Equifax already took care of that) is the best approach. What threads should I read through? Is there any guidance from the veterans y'all would be willing to share?

I wish I was smart and could write an App that mystery shoppers could enter their locations, their interests, personal preferences etc and it would analyze the 200 or 300 companies that legitimately offer shops that fit your requirements. Not only would the fit your requirements, they would pay well and pay on time. If I could do that I would be a millionaire. I'm not trying to be snarky or rude or anything but welcoming, I wish it was that simple. The answer is there is no better way other than filling out hundreds of applications and checking their sites.
There is a whole section here for new shoppers that has a lot of good information. There are list at the bottom of the form that has companies. Not only is there an official list, there is a list of the most discussed companies on the forum with the number of discussions or threads and links to them. Check out the member companies of the MSPA and ICMS. These are organizations of MSC's
We welcome you here and are hope to see you around often. We are very fortunate that we have this excellent resource. Take advantage of what is here.
I think Barabage meant IMSC, which is a shopper education associate that does have member companies.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Hi, and welcome here. I think many of the people here are registered with more than 100 MSCs. That's probably the best way to find the right fit for you, and to guarantee enough work for you.
Welcome, I know it seems daunting, but the best way is to sign up with each company. Try signing up for 1-2 per week, to make it easier. Although a company might not have a shop that you like in your area today, you never know what will happen a month from now. Just keep plugging away and sign up for as many as you can.
