What brought you to the forum? What are you curious about and how did you hear about mystery shopping? Just a safety warning to beware of emails boasting of making large sums of money and someone who wants to send you a large check or money order before any work has been done. That's a scam. This is a legit business but you get paid AFTER you do the work!
Don't' be afraid to try a shop at least once.

Almost any shop will always be faster or easier the next time around.

With so many software platforms to work with, never load up on too many different platforms in one day as you are getting started. Get familiar with each one so reporting with a deadline is less stressful.

Maintain good records for all of your login credentials to save time that way.

There are a whole lot of ways to do phone shops. So many companies, so little time. Some low pay, some not.
They can be great filler as you are passing by, literally something in the area you are in already, the chance to earn a bonus depending on the company offering and/or the location, and you will learn more about tech and tricks along the way as you spot the salespeople from the tech geeks. Always check the guidelines quickly, for format changes over time among a single company or the slight differences between companies. But you can get burned out so mix it up. There are big release seasons or waves, just like the fashion runway shows. They work for me when I take them because they become second nature for the quick fill and also I still have three kids under 18. It is one way to keep abreast of tech.

There are many ways to supplement your dining and entertainment experiences also. The iSS platform can be fun for that if you live near a metro area that has some independents or those locally owned hospitality groups for the indie light touch. There are only so many burgers I can eat in a year and I don't do much with the fast food.
