Can't get through to do phone shop!

What do you do when you are supposed to conduct a phone shop and it will be late because the mystery shopping company has not responded to me? I am upset because this will be a late shop (if it even gets to be done at all) because the number I was told to call (so it can be patched in and be recorded) has been ringing as busy all morning and now it says it is out of order!
I called the company twice and left a voice mail both times. I also emailed them. I have gotten no response at all. It is due in 15 minutes. I admit I am pretty frustrated right now. This is a company I have not done any work for yet. Any ideas?? The company is Imyst.

This was my first post and I realized there was a better place in the forum for this type of post so I posted in the discussion forum instead.
Relax, you can only do what you can do. If you have left voice mails and emails it is time to go do something else for a while. Then check back and see if the recorded line is available. Try the recorded line on and off through the day. If by about the end of the day if the line is not working and you have not received feedback from the company, email and request reschedule or to cancel and mention the number of attempts you have made today and mention that you have left both voicemails and emails with the MSC.

The MSC is more than likely aware that the recorded line has failed and probably has no confirmation as to when it will be back up and running. Based on an email at the end of the day about your attempts that failed because of a MSC problem, my opinion is that if they are an ethical company, you should get paid. Form your opinion about whether the company is worth working for in the future based on how they eventually handle the situation. Right now they are probably hoping the will be back up in the next hour or two.
I have had that problem in the past. Come to find out it was the cell service that I was using. It was an outfit out of California that offered cheap service. It was using Voice Over Internet Protocol (called VOIP Service) when I would call I would get a wrong number. After several times I tried it on the house phone and was able to get through. Needless to say, I no longer have that cell company for a provider anymore.
