New shopper And seeking guidancesmiling smiley

I have done a few gigs and 2 mystery shop style gigs on gigwork apps like field agent.. but I’m having a hard time finding anything that has regular gigs in my area of northern Cali.. any advice would be super appreciated and aim glad to join a group forum like this!

Right now, you'll be hard pressed to find much mystery shopping work at all right now. Most MSC's and their clients have largely shut down their mystery shopping work due to the coronavirus. Once states start opening up again, there will be opportunities. In the meantime, if you has spare time, sign up with lots of MSC's. That way, when work becomes available again, you'll be able to find it quickly.

That's really sage advice. There's not much available now but if you spend your idle time signing up for companies you'll be well placed for a fast start when the work comes back.

I imagine some companies may be slow to approve new shoppers now due to staffing constraints or office access issues. Don't be discouraged if you don't hear from some places promptly right now. Just move on to the next and it will all level out eventually.

I'm fairly new as well and have been periodically signing up for new companies. I'm hoping that by doing the few that pop up in my area that I feel I can do "safely" during this time, I may become eligible for others that come online once Covid-19 is brought under some semblance of control.
