Anyone Know of a Merchandising Forum?

I like this forum, very useful Mystery Shopping info. I prefer merchandising over mystery shopping for the most part, like the purple side of MF. I do merchandising for MF, Castforce, Retail Integrity to name a few. Does anyone know of a merchandising forum as useful as this one?

Thanks in advance smiling smiley!

I wish I did. While Volition has a merchandising section, I really don't like the site much, so I rarely read or post there.
I've thought about creating a merchandising section on this forum. Would there be support for it here? Let me know!
I would be stoked to have that, Jacob.

There are a number of posts here regarding merchandising already.
Thank you everyone for showing your interest. Anyone else who is interested in a merchandising forum section, please chime in.
I think there is a great demand for a merchandising forum, I would also set up a new domain to point it to the new forum.

I was actually thinking of setting up one myself after searching the internet and not finding anything worthwhile.

I would interested also ! I get all kinds of emails from different merchandishing companies. But I've never signed up for any of the jobs, since I am not that familiar with companies and if they are legit.
I've barely done merchandising, but would be interested in doing more of it... but would be unable to do some of it due to physical limitations. But I know there would be more that I *could* do.

SO... I am very interested in learning more about it and would regularly peruse a section of this forum dedicated to merchandising.

Thank you everyone for letting me know this was wanted here! i don't know a lot about merchandising, so any advice as to how I should set this up would be greatly appreciated, especially in terms of what the proper forum description should be. Right now it is rather general, but maybe that works?
so, what was the verdict? does it exist somewhere? I'm a scheduler and I would love to participate!

Thank you,

I see Kimberly of Keystone is a member and reads this forum. I'm shameless. I applied to your company........please hire me. Thank you. :-) Gotta love being a NYer we have that pushy reputation. (Please understand I'm kidding here, thought the interest in Keystone is real, just trying to draw attention to my desire to get into merchandising)

Agreed,it takes up to 3 days just to be approved for membership there and all posts are moderated so it's anyone's guess when you'll get replies.
It took way longer for me to get approved. In the 10 months I have been looking ,I have not found a single merchandising job listed. So far, all I've seen have been bank shops, oil changes, new car shops, a few retail shops. They do have a large listing of merchandising companies, but you have to weed out the bad ones.
I posted a question on Volition and got a semi-nasty response with a barrage of questions. It seems new people aren't welcomed there very readily.
Taking this question a step further, does anyone know of a company that would hire for three month increments then let you transfer to another state or area? My husband & I love to travel and full time in a 40' motor home. I am looking for additional ways to earn fuel monies and thought about in store demos or light merchandising. I am a young 62 year old in excellent health but I am not sure I could physically handle some merchandising jobs that I've seen while researching.
You can apply with most of the companies that staff nationwide and chances are you can get assignments in whatever town you're in.
There really is no merchandising forum, I've looked. You could become the official go to spot!!!

Please get on up and running!!!
