Castforce

Hello,

I been awarded two audit merchandising projects for a grocery store. Before I plunge forward, like to get feedback on the company ...pay, projects expecations, etc... good and the bad...

Thank you!

How are the prepaid cards projects? take longer 1 hour? even though it says 60 minutes. I reading prior Cstforce thread and I wonder if I should cancel.... complaints on the time it takes those projects and late on payment.

I did the Greendot resets which were easy and, after I learned the POG, took no time. I always seem to take longer the first or second time I do a new reset project while I learn the POG. After that, it takes a lot less time so the pay ended up being a good rate.

The other one where you do the entire fixture took me three hours to do one side. I was in the store five hours before giving up. The labels had no rhyme or reason and that added to the time to find the proper labels to place in the proper spot on the display. I ended up not completing the store and cancelled all of the other ones. I don't know if that is the norm or if I just didn't know how to do the job quickly.

I can't speak to their pay schedule as the Greendot projects aren't due to be paid until the 21st.
I am doing the same projects with no problems. After you do the first two or so it gets easy.
The Greendot project was fine but the , recent "audit" 21.50 has been a pain, they based their fee on the fact that the store had completed their POG in October...Jewel you are not slow ,I thought the same thing...the problem is they expect us to set the displays to POG in order to get paid with no provision for a full reset. I did complain about a store that took me 8 hours and they only increased my fee by 20.oo, I was not happy with that 41.50 for 8 hours work!!!..they should have set up the project with 2 pay scales in the same manner that I have seen them do walmart, I fee if POG is set, Another if it isn't.
I have learned to ask a ton of questions before I apply for projects, while some of them are straight forward, others have been a nightmare.......
Are the stores the actual clients or the vendors? I see a couple of posts with a vendor name and a couple with store names. Just a reminder, the clients cannot be name in this thread since the company name is in the subject line. Posts should be edited to remove them.

I noticed that in certain regions their POG's were completed mostly so they were fine but others had clusters of stores that had no idea that they had a new POG.....I just don't think that Castforce anticipated this.....I have never had a problem getting paid by them though, I must say.....it is just frustrating because they tend to be disorganized..so it is hard to take distant clusters of stores,....and I do not agree that your contractor score should drop because you have to cancel a site because of unanticipated issues like that....I would rate them a 7 out of 10 if there were such a thing...smiling smiley, I wouldnt count them our completely, I have learned to ask lots of questions before accepting longer distant store though and since I have started that it has made it easier to schedule and make descisions on which assignments to apply for...
Your replies make me feel better. I just started with them in November and have not received a paycheck as of yet. There have been several excuses such as a computer glitch and the person telling me when I should get a check sent out was "misinformed" I have now been told my check will be issued tomorrow the 2ND of January. I don't necessarily care if it is late as long as I am getting one. The jobs are easy and no trouble to report. The people at the company I have spoke with have all been very nice.
I would agree some jobs are easy some a pain on some jobs especially the first one takes a bit longer after that im in and out in as much 15 minutes.

How did you earn $2,077?

Which site should we go to register this business?
I'm in Quebec (Canada)
Each merchandising company has it's own site to register. One place that has consolidated information on merchandising companies is narms.com.
I never to seem to apply on time to get much from them. I get an e-mail telling there are new projects on my "dashboard" and even if I get there within minutes the only ones there are too far. Good example is CVS. There must be at least 3 dozen CVS locations within a 25 mile radius of my location yet when I went to the dashboard within minutes of receiving the e-mail the only locations listed were 80-90 miles away. I think they must have "regulars" that get the assignments before they ever hit the board.
They list them in batches in seemingly random order. You never know when "your" stores will be listed. They do go fast, though, usually.

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
Overall a decent company to work for in my opinion. I recently had a job where the pay date changed after the job was over to the following month. That iritated me a little. I did a number of them so the payout is quite large... having to wait essentially 2 months to get paid is not good. If I hit MY deadline... THEY should hit theirs!
CastForce are (EDITED). Anyone can try their silly one time projects. The slightest problem and anyone is locked. And the (EDITED) go and hide behind the internet when it comes to a satisfactory explanation. The CEO of CastForce is Pete Liappsis (funny name). The problem was that (EDITED) used to run the Cast before it reorganized...............I would beware.................................................................................................
I have done numerous jobs for them with no problems. The only time they didn't pay me was when they asked me to resubmit my invoices because they were to blurry, but I somehow had lost them and couldn't
They had a question of why I placed a cling.on the opposite side of where it went. I explained to.them.why and got.paid.
Castforce is not any good to deal with....Other posts claiming Castforce is decent are written by Castforce.....Tammy Little is a (EDITED) and an insult to the normal business philosophy....Just contact that (EDITED) concerning any problems etc...and you will be ignored.
Your few posts will not negate the posts of everyone else. There are trusted members who are in no way affiliated with the company and have made positive posts while you have provide nothing concrete. It is inappropriate to make accusations without providing any details and it is incorrigible to call legitimate companies childish names.

Castforce is a sleazy company....Castforce just wants to toss anyone in their inactive box. And cheat people out of pay. Subsequently, no one answers any longer at Castforce when nothing can be done further to torture someone and the game is over. I can't reach anyone at CastForce for a cheap 70 bucks that has it's act together and bounces me around.....And it's not enough that Tammy Little the Director is no good to deal with and insults everyone to top it off. It is Castforce that accuses people but just about one hundred and fifty people are claiming that CastForce mistreats them per google, it just doesn't make sense.
Castforce is an untrustworthy internet biz...and no where it can be located of any example of real people at Castforce making it right.....Castforce ignores people.
It is obvious your only reason for being here is to wage cyber war against the company. That is not the purpose of the forum so you may want to look elsewhere.

Did a ASOT assignment. I suppose they assumed the display was set to POG. A one hour job took 5 hours. I do not know if they will compensate me fairly. Waiting to see.

That's one of the reasons I limit which assignments I take from them. I know one assignment will take an amount of time that makes the flat fee reasonable. The others, the flat rate fee is definitely not sufficient for the time it takes. That may be why they had 150+ job postings on NARMS today.
I have been signed up with them for several months but have never had a project close enough (except for Walmart and I don't do Walmart) Yesterday they sent me a link to fill out a survey but since I have not done any projects for them I couldn't answer many of the questions. I have to say though it seemed like a very self serving survey.
I have just finished inputing my work for a project I did for them. I will hold off on judgement until I acutally get paid but I can say that I did 16 locations for them across 3 days and they offered a premium of 300% on 10 of them and 70% on the other 6. Of course the locations were far apart (nearly 500 miles to connect all the dots) and required 2 motel stays (total cost of about $120, thank you AARP) but the total billable was just over $520 for 16 locations. That works out to $32.50 per and is better than my mystery shop average. Just thought I'd offer this as FIY.

Any help is appreciated. smiling smiley
I noticed in the last few weeks they have advertised all over NARMS for contractors in virtually every town within a 50 mile radius of me. It seems strange to me because in the 6 months or so I've been signed up with them I've seen exactly one assignment available in my area.
I suppose they could be trying to build up their work force foe a big upcoming assignment but who knows.
