Castforce

Namaste- be prepared. Did a "1 hour" job for them that took 2 hours and 20 minutes. I followed the instructions to a T- and was paid .....$11. Forget it.

I have done one job for this company. It took a little extra time, but not a lot. It was an ASOT audit/restock at a local Walmart. The job was fairly easy, but the stock room at Walmart was a mess and I couldn't find products in saleable condition. I called their CS line and spoke to a very nice person who helped the situation. The job said I would be paid @ the April 19 date. I checked my payment info on the 19th and check was mailed. I received that Monday with no problem. I seldom see jobs for this company in stores, etc. near me, or worth the money to drive to. I would do work for them again.
I write the truth concerning CastForce and The way CastForce is impossible to deal with
I'm sorry you've had such bad luck with Castforce, Victim. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. I will admit that the NARMS ads scare me, as I like to pick up projects every month, and don't like to play gotcha on the assignment board. There seems to be more merchandising work out there lately, so hopefully the perfect situation will pop up for you.
good for you .......I didnt make comments against CastForce...it is the way it is ..I notice someone by the screenname of supercontractor throughout the internet writes one thing and then the other.....too bad is all I can say....just tell them any real .....pay etc.....complaints and you 'll soon discover the way you are locked........I got plenty of way out of line quotes from TL ands means nothing to me......I will not respond any longer
...the days of companies like Cast Force taking advantage of people with IC status are coming to a close...if you feel you were treated unfairly, please contact your local Labor Board, they will review with you over the phone and determine if you have grounds to file a claim...they are very helpful.

Perhaps you should go out of business? Every post I have read of yours has said negative things about various MSC's or merchandising companies. I don't recall seeing you post one positive thing about any company. If you have had bad experiences with every company you have done work for you are obviously not cut out for this kind of work and should probably seek a different type of employment.
Pamala, doesn't the choice of "victim" as a handle pretty much say it all? Some people really do have a victim mentality and it is all about "that big company treated poor little me so bad."

Yes it does, but I have seen so many negative posts by this person, I just couldn't resist saying something anymore. My evil side wanted to take over, but I told it to be nice. LOL
Labor board is not the answer to all companies. You seem to think that solves all?

Want to expand on that?

What? She didn't sound offended or concerned. She just asked you to provide more information. I can also guarantee CanadaMommy is no shill so accusing her of that is uncalled for.

The CastForce problems have nothing to do with anyone as an individual.....lots of people are being locked from CastForce for no real explanation......I recommend you e mail CastForce to find out the method to kick everyone off this website.....therefore I will have to stay away and others for real...and yes CastForce did like to be fair but has gone back to it's old ways...and reminding everyone of other terrible online organizations that have gone out of business..............................................................and therefore everyone will not be burned any longer.
When you audit, only audit. You can get in and out in an hour or less, since they are not paying you to work extra. Even on the audits, they ask you to reset to the correct planogram. If resetting would take more time than that, explain that to them and you will still get paid.
Uploads for their reports take almost as long as the assignment. The pay is not bad if you don't consider report time.

It don't take very long when I upload reports. Yes they are a bit slower than other sites; but not by much. How big are your photos..they can slow down the uploading.
I have been working for them for about a year. They pay once a month and the paper work I think is quick and easy. They have just started( in the last month) not paying you by check but rather putting it in some financial institution. They send you a debit card and you deal with getting the money from that. There are no free ATM machines in my town but there is a bank I can go and cash out or use it just like a debit card. I would rather have the money but I guess it is not to much different that PayPal.
Maybe not too different. However, the new card CastForce has will charge you after a few months of inactivity. This wouldn't be a problem if there was continuity work, but could easily be a problem when we are just picking up jobs from the website. Especially given that they continue heavily recruiting so that it is harder and harder to get work.
Been working for them for about a year now. Most assignments take me less than the "hour" but they usually pay by the assignment. At the bottom of your dashboard, there is a place with the number of days till the next pay out. BUT always remember to submit your invoices and hit the submit button every time you see it.
Just thought I'd chime in since so many people seem to have problems with them. I can honestly say they have treated me great! Of course I live in a rural area and am willing to travel a little bit. Maybe they just don't have anybody else out here?

Exactly. I've always had good luck with CastForce, but lately they have recruited so many people that the stores that I have been doing for a over a year are being gobbled up before I can log on. I I don't know how long you have to go before you get hit with inactivity fees, and I hope I don't find out.
swaid it before but it bears repeating. I love these guys. It would be better if I could convince them I'm not driving 279 miles for a $10 project, but hey. I always get paid ontime, not too thrilled about the new card idea. Too many companies use their own special card. Ugh.
One exemplary thing, I can be a bit of a ditz. I've had their tech support guys walk me through problems with the website. They are always nice to me and don't make me feel stupid. Even the "glitch" was me.
Just sayin!

Castforce is not a scam weatherman00! I have done well over 120 assignments for them since June and have always been paid as expected, been given extra work with a bonus when someone else flaked, and look forward to working for them for as long as possible. Please tell us how this company is a scam.
He keeps posting they are a scam and the owe him 4000. But he won't give any details or anything to back up his story. I have worked for them for a year and have always been paid. They only time I received a late payment, the added a little extra for the inconvenience.
I have been working for them for over a year and I have been very happy with them. They always return my calls if I do not get to speak with them when I call. I have made mistakes before and they always gave me the opportunity to correct. I was a little concerned with they decided to pay you by giving you a bank card but have had no problem taking the card to the US Bank in my town and withdrawing it. I cannot say anything negative about them.
For $4000, is there some reason you haven't taken them to court yet?

Time to build a bigger bridge.
There is always a possibility of not getting paid if a client refuses to pay the merchandising company for our work. If a POG is not set according to directions or the pictures are not exactly what was requested. The first time it happens is a learning opportunity to be very careful to follow instructions.

I would normally not comment, but..............I believe the following are previous statements by weatherman on a different site. I could be wrong.

******I'm really sick of people complaining on here about castforce when i have had issues, I got them resolved but chatting on-line and over the phone. I pulled in 2k plus for a paycheck. They have given me strong bonuses for projects and support my work.

They will pay

I'm so sorry you ran into this issue but their clients have been getting tougher by the minute on pictures but that is the way the business is ran. They always pay on time and plus support/contracting team is great when coming and understanding projects/pay rates for distances. This is even pressure on the high end for me. I do have a few concerns but have directed them personally, so they know about it. But, they direct me concerns as well because we have to work together in this industry to make each other better.******
@ weatherman00 ~ Why do you insist on being sooooo repetitive? You post the same exact post in several threads. Then you post your phone number here and you have to PM me with the same exact message? Do you understand the meaning of overkill?

You obviously have too much time on your hands now that you have essentially been "fired" from Castforce. And yes, I know as independent contractors that we can not actually be fired in the traditional sense; Hence the quotation marks.
