Newbie looking for MF answers...

I think I posted my intro in the wrong section, I sure hope not though.....

Anyhow, I've stumbled across your forum after a Google search (M*****F**** + DEP PRENOTIFICATION + When do they pay).....

As the economy has been especially hard on my family I stumbled across an article "Get paid to watch movies," and it spoke of ways to make extra money and spoke of Mystery Shopping, of course it piqued my interest and I went Googling.... came across a company that I signed up for, MF as it's referred to on many of the posts here in this forum.

Well within 2 weeks I got a phone call and an email stating there was a $30 bonus each day, and must be done this weekend, and it actually sounded like fun, so for a full Saturday and full Sunday we went to the movie theatre and counted patrons going in to see The Hobbit, in the end it's to pay a total of over $200. A couple of weeks later I got a few more movie theatre assignments, not near as time consuming nor as tedious.

Needless to say, I'm wondering how often and when this company pays if anyone knows?

Does anyone know much about MF and how their pay structure works? A few days before I got the first phone call I saw a transaction in my bank account that said "DEP PRENOTIFICATION FROM M*********" no amounts with it, just a ledger entry I suppose. Well, this month there is another one, exactly the same, so I figured I'd probably be getting my payment anytime, that's been 6 days ago....

I don't want to keep working for them if I'm not going to get paid and I have a couple of shops set up for the end of the month for the blue side. Oh and I've never heard boo about anything being rejected, though it did take literally almost 3 weeks for the first assignment to disappear off my "past-due assignments" section after I mailed a rather large packet of information as requested, even though the newest ones had been in and out by then, but those weren't snail-mail assignments either.

Anything offered will be totally appreciated!

I have always been paid by MF. and haven't seen ton of complaints from other people about getting paid. I also never seen any deposit prenotification in my account. So I'm not sure what That is all about. You should be able to check your history if you go to the website and look around, . Usually I get paid about midmonth but it's not always the same day. Since you haven't received your money from them yet, my advice would be to wait until that first deposit before you do anymore. I tend not to want to allow any new company to owe me too much money. I make each company prove their worth to me before I am willing to do too much for them.
Thanks Shelly.

I didn't see this right away, but had the same thoughts, I didn't want to do too much for them and have them owing me too much money before I at least got my first deposit of the large assignment I had done. Ya know!

Anyhow, online on my payment profile it showed the Dep Prenotification from December, but not from January. So I did the pay inquiry, telling them I understood that I was supposed to wait 6 weeks but that I was concerned, yada yada yada. I figured it would be at least a week or so before I would hear anything.

Well, yesterday the whole deposit was there, including the assignments I completed after the main one I was most concerned about.

Thanks for responding, I feel much better knowing that MF doesn't tend to be a company that doesn't pay.
A prenote is something they do prior to your first direct deposit. It is to verify that the banking information is correct and will not need to be done again unless you change banks.

Auntiemeda, I have worked for MF several times before (between 2010 and 2011). I was always paid on time and enjoyed working for them. Unfortunately, since their pay was so low, I stopped working for them . . . yet I only worked for MF to get into the Merchandising field and to gain experience.

I think that MF is a great company to work for if you are trying to get into merchandising. I found their work instructions very easy to understand as a newbie . . . I never had to write or call them for help for any merchandising project I was awarded. So I can't thank MF enough for letting me work for them . . . without having no previous merchandising experience AND them letting me gain merchandising experience working for them, so I could get better paying merchandising jobs with other companies that require merchandising experience.

Good luck to you.
