Frustrated with Castforce

A few weeks ago, I picked 15 shops for a chain of convience stores around me. The email stated it was a simple gift card refill following the POG. After receiving the packages on the 1st day they were do, I went out do start my shops. Since this is my first time working with Castforce, I didn't know what to expect. After going to the stores, I noticed they were in reality resets since none of the cards were in order. What should of been a 20-30 min job, has been taking me over an hour. What really upsets me is when I have questions, I call the 800 number just to be placed on hold for over 20 mins without anyone anwsering. I sent off a email tonight for support, but dunno if that will be much luck. The customer service for this company is almost impossible to get ahold of. I just dont want to put in hours of work just for them to come back and say they can't pay me since I didn't follow through with directions. Even though the project is due tomorrow, I might just tell them to pass on the others.

BTW, Does anyone know if that whole "You owe us for packages that shops are not completed" is valid? It's my first time seeing that from a company that I contract out for and it makes me that much uneasy working for them.

I think this is a common problem with Castforce. I did one shop for them. What should have taken me 90 minutes took me 5 hours. I will not work for them anymore.
Tammy Little helps by prying into your login data to underhandily lock you out of your portal forever...it s good for me that I wont be dealing with the impossibles any longer....but it was taking forever to receive the pay etc.....this organization shows zero appreciation and it equates to their ratings....I suggest anyone look elsewhere.
Same here, Dr. Disney....I was just dismissed from Castforce due to the fact that they sent me on a ASOTV Walmart inspection It was 30 miles away from my home and as I was 7 miles out of town headed for the store assigned to me, I got a call from Bernard in Contracting (who had just assigned it to me an hour prior via phone call) calling me off the assigment, because all of a sudden (after the assignment sat on the board for almost two weeks and no one picked it up) they "found" a rep to service it that was "already in the area". I was upset and asked to speak to a supervisor, who told me that she was too busy ("we have 18,000 reps, how can I know whats going on?') to catch the oversight that two reps were assigned at EXACTLY the same moment!! This after she had just admitted to me that she was sitting right next to Bernard when he assigned it to me!! Get your story straight!!
I then was locked out of my Dashboard. I called back to speak with Jan Carpenter, who is apparantly in charge of Compliance (who needs to brush up on laws concenring 1099 workers in Calif) and she dismissed me. She said that I commited fraud by sending photos in that showed what 7-11 displays looked like upon my arrival. I went to two 7-11 to do resets and the Mgrs of both were concerned that the resets were done two weeks prior and that they were done incorrectly and wrong products were ordered (a Mgr ordered phones and got phone cards instead etc....) so I tried calling into Cast Force Support at both 7-11 stores and started a proccess of being put on hold forever and eating up my time alloted to be in the store (I do not work for free). I was not able to complete the assignments in the time alloted.
So basically if you point out the incompentancy and disorganization in this company, they lock you out of your Dashboard and dismiss you by placing you on "30 day probabtion", but basically dismissing you by assigning jobs to the next poor sap that comes along.
I will be reporting this to the Calif. Labor and Industrial Relations board...and heads up 1099 workers, you have alot more rights than companies such as Cast Force want to lead you to believe!!
If you think that you have been classified incorrectly IC vs Reg. Employee, I advise you file with your local Labor Board. As long as you have good records (and it sounds as if most of you do) you may be entitled to compensation for wrongful dismissal/breach of contract etc....and if you meet the criteria of being a reg. w-2 employee, these comapaines will get LARGE FINES!! for not paying workmans comp, payroll taxes etc....
I say we IC's show these vultures a lesson!! I am...
Anyone on this post that needs assistance, this is my direct line. 941-404-4680 I will gladly assist you. We are here to help. The team at Castforce is required to complete the exact same work orders. We test up 10-20 locations. If it is taking 5 hours, we need to talk.

You didn't mention we compensated you for the inconvenience. You signed up 4/22, you selected 17 work orders, 6 didn't pass the Quality Control process. We provided options to correct the issues and you refused.

As for not being able to contact us. You have chatted 27 times, 12 phone calls to Support and over 12 emails. That is 3 contacts per work order.
'As for not being able to contact us. You have chatted 27 times, 12 phone calls to Support and over 12 emails. That is 3 contacts per work order. "

LIES!!! I NEVER got thru to Support when I needed to at the 7-11 stores, I was put on hold for around 35 minutes each time...you are supposed to be paying reps as REGULAR W-2 employees not piece work...please review Calif. Labor and Industry guidelines when it comes to classifying IC's...you dictate the entire job process, start to finish, what date is is to be done, THAT IS NOT what classifies as an IC...you are evading paying unemployment, taxes and workmans' comp. There are other boards with other complaints about Cast Force...I see you spend your time refuting all of them instead of doing your job...figures.

Dr Disney, Good Idea! Cast Force is a scam to bilk the large chain stores out of $$, it took me all of a week or so to figure that out...they set you up for failure! that is why you cant get ahold of Support when you are out in the field. They can see your phone number when you call in and they purposely leave you on hold. After talking with a few store mgrs, it didnt take me long to figure out what was going on...they make sure the job doesnt get done right so they can send some other poor sap out AGAIN, and charge the store again and again and again....ultimately the merchandiser gets screwed out of their time and $$.
I have done several jobs for this company and never had a problem getting paid. I have been paid for every job I did except for a couple and that was my fault. They have ever only questioned 1 job where I put something on the opposite side of where I was suppose to. I explained why I put it there and I got paid for the job. I have had no problem contacting them. They have always answered and never put me on hold. Some of their displays do take more than the allotted hour, but hey call them and explain to see if they will pay for the extra time it takes. After doing a couple in the same chain, I can take one look at the display and know if it is going to take longer than an hour to do. If they don't want to pay for the extra time do what you can in that hour and leave.
"If they don't want to pay for the extra time do what you can in that hour and leave. "

Then you get nothing.

Cast Force has shills that post here
I've had issues with time COMPARED TO WHAT THEIR EXPECTED TIME states, however I am beginning to believe it's mostly because the store is not following through on their side. Out of my first five stores, I had five issues because of the store's lack of care in general. The manager (if I am lucky enough to get one) is way too busy and overworked. The POG wasn't followed when I arrived and took sometimes a couple of hours to correct. One store actually signed off and literally took everything I did and changed it right back when I left (I left my keys and had to return about five minutes later and was shocked-so was the manager when I walked up).

Though I'm pretty new, if you are able to get through to Castforce, I'd call, email, and/or put something in the report where it asks you if you have comments because it may be miscommunication between all three parties (and the ones in between those). If you cannot contact them, for sure do not apply for the jobs as the frustration wouldn't be worthwhile.

I've never had a problem with payment nor the time it took to be paid.

I do not have a gripe other than I'm not given enough pay for how long it really takes (regardless of who is at the root) and I really want to do a good job... a dream would be to get all of a certain store chain in my area for a regular monthly fee (and it'd have to be worth Honolulu traffic time, the worst traffic in the United States, even over Los Angeles); seems like this would ensure consistency, the managers would get to know and respect me, and I could actually do more than one store a day (someone is always on break, lunch, not there that day, doesn't come in before 4 or after 1, or whatever) because I could get to know their schedules and work around them.
therefore Tammy L. and Teresa from Compliance do read the posts....anyone interested in what Tammy L. is like and Teresa from Compliance....feel free to PM..........Tammy L. what is the FBI I just don't understand.
Tammy L......how does everyone unlock their portal access to check their profile.....I keep e mailing that question but no answer......should you have nothing better to do... the question waits in my queue..............
I agree with all of the above about how long it takes to do resets. However, my assignments were audits and I should have just audited the products within an hour and let someone else do the actual resets. Each store followed the planograms differently but a couple followed it well without my having to do much. I haven't had payment issues. When I had an invoice issue, they resolved it and paid it on time. In the future, I will only do audits, not resets.
I do not understand the problem that some people are having with Castforce. They have been very nice and understanding with me. I accidently did not take some pictures on the displays on the counters of some service stations and they notified me of the mistake and gave me time to correct them. I have always talked with someone when I called and have also talked over their website during certain hours of the day. The only thing I hate is the new way they are paying us, but like everything else after I get use to it I probably won't mind.
Could someone please tell me if this new card is a debit card? So far, my experiences with Castforce have been fine, and fairly and quickly paid. I would like more details on the card. Anyone?
The card is a debit card and can be used for FREE at US Bank branches. Just read the card agreement and you'll avoid any fees. Some people just want to create drama on the boards. Castforce is a great company to work for. Good communication, easy instructions and projects, pay on time... what more could you ask for?
Castforce has always been more than fair with me. I have messed up several times and they let me go back and correct my mistakes. They have always returned my calls and I also use the "chat now" on the website witch they answer immediately. My pay always comes on time and I believe they pay enough for what you do. They are one of my favorite companies to work for. My only thing I don't like is the method of payment. I would have rather it gone through PayPal. I have no free ATM sites in my state and I have been hesitant to try the bank. I have seen where other people have had no problem so it is probably just me.
After 2 of 15 stores everyone should have a few ideas of "what cards go where" and develop a flow to get it done quickly. I did 10 of the stores and never took more than an hour to do any of them. Castforce has been a good company to work for and I have never had any issues. Once I received the signage kit for a different store setup than they had listed. One phone call later, got the correct kit, went back to the store later and got paid for both visits.
I just took my first check to a US Bank to cash. I was a little concerned since I do not bank with them. I had no problem at all and there was no fee.
I just signed up for this company is this company still having problems because Im in the process of signing up for asotv audits for walmart
I for one wish I could find more work with them that pays more. I live 30 miles from cities that have work and I cannot afford to do it for $10-$14. I did ask for higher pay and have not heard from them.

They will pay more when it is overdue and they are trying to get it done.

There is a link under their FAQs. It explains exactly how to use the card and there is a 1-800# to contact.

But I BELIEVE I read that you should use it as credit to avoid fees, also you can get checks for free and use them to have the full amount deposited to your checking account.

I have done 2 recently. The first visit will likely exceed the 60 mins. But they go faster as you do repeat visits in the same store. The biggest problem I had was getting in touch with someone at Walmart who works with the ASoTV products - Dept. 82. To make it FAR less frustrating (and time consuming) for yourself, I recommend you phone the store ahead and be sure someone is there who can assist you - and GET THEIR NAME for future reference.
For those working in Wal Mart here is a tip to use. Most Dept 82 front end managers work from 7 or 8 AM until 2 or 3 PM. You will have a much better chance of seeing people working that department early in the morning. Don't wait until after lunch to find help because by that time of day they will be in other areas of the store.

I have worked for them for a long time. They have always paid me. How did they scam you out of 4000? What was their reason for not paying you? And how in the world did you do $4000 worth of jobs for them in one month? They must have a lot more work in your area then they do mine. I think you also posted this on their Facebook page didn't you?
I am a bit confused. I'm in the process of registering with this company so I don't believe I have full access to their web site yet. How do they pay us for jobs? It sounds like PayPal, check and direct deposit are NOT options.

Also, I use a PO Box address for pretty much everything. This includes the IRS and the Department of Motor Vehicles. They won't accept my signed W-9 form with the PO Box address on it. That is where all my taxes have been filed for 10+ years. I have never had an issue. But they won't fully approve me with their company with the PO Box. I am not sure I want to continue with the registration process? Why are they insisting on a physical address on my W-9? If my PO Box is good enough for the Federal Government, why isn't it good enough for them?

@ weatherman00 ~ You need to give more details as to what happened. Just posting negative comments about once a week does not help any of us. Tell us what you and the reason they are giving you for not paying you.

Castforce sends out boxes of materials for most of their assignments and I doubt if UPS or FedEX will deliver to your PO Box. Castforce will require a physical address to deliver to. As far as payment options, they direct deposit into a reloadable debit card issued by Skylight One. They will not use Paypal, but the card they use works very well and I have had no problems using it. And please ignore any posts from weatherman00 as he has a beef with the company but will not give details. Some people need help but spend too much time on the internet looking for the help they need.
