Castforce

I did 2 jobs yesterday. My physical works took forever to finish, but the report part was OK. I was recommended to use Google Chrome or Firefox by a support & didn't have any issues submitting them with Firefox.

Maybe...try different browser next time?

nanakomki, thanks.. I had downloaded Google Chrome and it messed up my pc. My printer also didn't like it. I finally went back to chrome and was able to submit. I don't like chrome. I have never had problems with Internet Explorer before Castforce. Anyway, I am happy I got that project finished. Thanks again.
I had the same experience with submitting 3 reports. The first two I submitted the whole report 2-3 times. The third one I had to submit just the photos 2-3 times.
I too downloaded Google Chrome and it messed up my pc and printer. It cost me $60+ to get my pc fixed.
I e-mailed the company telling them about the problem with submitting......no reply yet.
It depends on where you live. There isn't anything close to me, but, 30 miles away there is stuff about every 2 weeks. Real small market here. Look at how they pay, there seems to be some concern because they are doing a reloadable card. Read the postings on Castforce to get the details. I won't work for them as they don't have anything close, and, I don't need any more ways of getting paid. I love direct deposit, followed by PayPal. If a company pays any other way, I don't sign up with them. Just my bad experiences with a few bad apples, so it is just my rule. Good luck.
In my area of North Carolina there are a lot of jobs with Castforce and you can be as busy as you want to be without alot of driving. Last month I did over $330 with them and that pay later on this month will be great! The new method of paying hasn't been a problem, the money goes in to the card like clockwork!
Has anyone had an issue with being paid? I did three jobs during the August pay period. When I look at the accounting area, it says a check was issued on September 20. I have sent 2-3 e-mails but have not had a response. If I don't get paid, I don't work. I took the jobs for chicken feed in order to get into the company.

Cruiseguy...are you still getting paper checks from them or are you getting deposits into the debit card they use now? I thought they stopped paper checks in the summer? Deposits were made on Friday for September work.
iwahst, This would be my first of either from Castforce.
It is indicated that it is a check. I think they tell you that is your first mode of payment.

I like Castforce, but sometimes it is a mess.
I have a project now that I had to complete last week. Material arrived last Monday and on the material I read I had to make a phone call for appointment one week before...now of course I am one week later.
I have a project due this week and I cannot tell if I have to receive the material or it is shipped to the store (the paperwork I received it contraddicts itself). And anyway I cannot print the invoice to do the job since it is not highlighted.
But they pay well and in time...even though I hate the debit card...
Ok I spoke too early LOL. I was left 5 hours waiting at a location. I was sent a completely wrong POG, I called several time. I waited in line and everytime it was my turn it automatically said "you hit the star you can leave a message".
I am cancelling now the 13 jobs I had with them and then delete myself from their database.
Well...losing 13 assignments that have a due date by the end of the week must hurt. In 6 hours they could not return any of my messages or answer my emails....but not even finished cancelling all 13 jobs and there is their call asking why.
Apparently they were not that busy after all...
How foolish of them. A little consideration for the merchandiser in the field would go a long way.
I got an email last night about a discounter that the assigned person had flaked on the job. It was handing someone some POP that I could print at home.
When I got to the address, the store had moved. I looked it up on my phone and it was 1 mile away. I did the job which had a $25 bonus. I can't blame who ever didn't do the job. The store moved 7 years ago! No one would answer the phone to give her the correct address, so she gave up. We all have had the days of frustration were you just say Scr*& it.
It reeks that you lost 13 assignments also. You no doubt had planned your week around these jobs. I'm getting calls to cover little assignments- 2 1/2 foot resets. They are super easy, they just are not in the areas I have already scheduled for this week. They also aren't paying enough to make it worth my time to cover some of my scheduled stores at 5am to go 40 miles to cover these. Win some lose some. I do not accept any Castforce jobs. Too far away, too low paying.
Hope you find something to fill in the gaps.

I had an issue one time. It is better to csll them or get on their live chat. They paid me extra for waiting on the check.
I've worked for them on and off for awhile. Some of the jobs are a little unclear until they actually release the paperwork. Some of the jobs can involve doing a lot of tasks in the same store. It is not too bad until you find out that the reset job that is supposed to be simple may take up most of the time allowed in the store. Problem being, you are paid a flat fee rather than hourly. I've cancelled a few jobs because of this, I don't cheat these companies, so I would like the same regard in return.
I work for another company that has a huge issue with how long things take. I am supposed to do 4 tasks, but 1 takes up the whole time also. I'm in hard core ignored stores. The kind that haven't done the last 2 resets, now I'm coming in to do a 1 item cut in, and end up doing 1/2 a reset for the whole row. I've gone over time a few times. If it continues, I will be a former employee with them also.

Yep, after you are on hold for so long, it automatically determines you want to leave a message. I was told one time to connect with the compliance team, their system is a little faster than the support team. If I have an issue that needs immediate attention and I can't get through, I leave the store, and get an extension when I finally do get through. There is no way I would have waited 5 hours.
I've been having problems getting the "kits" for assignments lately. I had to complete and submit a job a day late, but they were good enough to not mark it late after I chatted with them. Is anyone else noticing that is is taking forever to receive materials? According to the box it was in route 10 days? And no tracking information. Just wondering...

I did three shops for the for the firs time this week. When entering the second shop I was referred to a page on their website that told me it was "mandatory" to sign up for their auto payment card. There were all sort of terms of agreement and something on fees that I need to read. I don't want to be paid by anything that requires taking one penny from me. I would prefer PayPal over these other methods. To get your cash many times you have to have fees because you are trying to do it via an ATM somewhere.
There card is not the best available out there, but i guess they think it is so thats what matters.
I have done one job for Castforce. I did the project in January and was supposed to be paid in February. I had been concerned because the amount to be paid always said $0 but I was assured after I called to ask about it that I would be paid on the 21st of February. Guess what? Yesterday I was told I won't be paid till March! I have emailed the administrator and it has been over 24 hours without a reply. I have other projects scheduled but I am not sure I want to continue with this company after they are completed. I would advise everyone to take the pay problem under consideration before joining.
Mlh, check your stupid payment card. It took them two weeks to finally tell me that an overdue payment I was waiting on had gone on the card instead of check like the two jobs I had done after that one.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
That card was a dumb idea from the getgo and they do acknowledge of making payment mistake did with me at least on 3 occasions!
I went through the same thing my first time. They do not have a save option while you are reporting. The first time it went on for days and I could not report because my pictures would not load. Even support could not figure it out. Finally, I thought what did I do different than other companies I report for and I realized I had added captions to the pictures with store # and pic code. Deleted and low and behold finally was able to submit. I just wanted to quit and let them keep their money at this point. I have two more jobs this weekend with them. Hope all goes well. Wish me luck.
Castforce seems to be dependent on who your manager is. I have friends to swear by their associations with this company, others that swear at them and won't work with them again. I got burned once with them on an under timed set and have never looked at them since. The gift card sets a pretty much a nightmare from any company. Some companies give you enough time to do them, however, and once you have a few under your belt, it does get easier.
I have been running into merchandisers doing not quite great work. I blame the managers. They are sending so many new merchandisers out to do a job which would make an experienced person pause and re read the instructions 3 or 4 times. I just did a huge cosmetic fixture over the weekend. From unboxing it from the pallet in the back room to setting it on an endcap, plus it had over 500 items to load and tag. The young lady who is assigned to the store has about 2 months experience, and never had anyone work with her to show her the ropes. I think that was extremely unfair of the company to expect her, with minimal experience to accomplish this task. She quit with 2 days left on the program, so I spent Saturday doing this. I looked at some of the other recent programs in the store and saw she really should have had someone working with her, so she would know how to read a planogram, do the cut ins and installs correctly. I blame the company for letting her go solo for so long , and, maybe her for not asking for help. Whoever gets this store is going to have a nightmare getting it caught up to current planogram.
I have found the companies that hire you as a W2 worker are a bit better to work for as a general rule. I only do work for 1 company that is a 1099, and they pay so well and the jobs are so simple, I make an exception for them.
i think all of the big companies are like that... your scheduler makes or breaks your experience
