Cast Force CVS Project Question....

Since I am new to merchandising, how do I know which cards correspond to the numbers on the planogram? The planogram numbers match the scan tags but I don't know how to relate those numbers to the gift cards. I don't even know how to tell which cards need to be discarded. (Btw - I did the 7-11 reset and the numbers all matched each other so I don't know if this is normal or not).

Thanks!

Wish I could help but I have only done one of these and found it so confusing and frustrating (not to mention time-consuming) I have never done one since. In the end I just put them anywhere and they still paid me...
If you get a RF gun, you may be able to figure out what is what. CVS has their own SKU system, which has absolutely nothing to do with the UPC number, unfortunately. I do sets in CVS weekly for another company and that's the only way I can match products to planogram, the CVS label is usually very descriptive though, if your lucky enough to have a label. These stores can be a beast if you don't have access their gun. Tell them what number you need to find and they can set the right inquiry for you on the gun.
Good luck!
Yes, the labels are descriptive with the name of the gift card but it doesn't help with which ones are the old/discarded style and which ones are the new styles. My husband who has done more merchandising than I have looked it over and said they set me up for failure. I'm just hoping to finish the projects without too much trouble. I don't have all the stickers either since the store printed them and put them up wherever. So I have 10 or so for Pottery Barn and Babies R Us and none for others.

FWIW, CVS is not the only store like this.
Those card assignments can be confusing and time consuming. I don't really care for them.
I notice there is now an audit available for the CVS project. So I guess I can audit my own work if I take the same locations.
I like the way there are two CVS projects going on at the same time in the same stores! Double the money!
