I work for American Greetings, but know some of the Hallmark merchandisers and they seem to like it. Merchandising cards is harder work than most people think as the boxes can be very heavy and there is lots of bending, stooping, lifting of boxes involved. I'm in my mid-60s and some days it is hard, but overall card merchandising is a pretty good part time gig. Be prepared for fewer hours during the summer with either Hallmark or AG. Good luck.
Yes, they are unorganized, pay below minimum wage
and require you to lift 50 lbs. stoop, and walk down stairs
carrying product. The supervisors are overworked and
this comes across through their negativity with their
team.
