Acosta acquiring over 400 Family Dollars??

Anyone have any info about this? I do work for SPAR and only found out when one of my stores disappeared from my jobs list. My manager did not give much info only that ACOSTA took over SPAR jobs at 440 Family Dollars.

Family Dollar is always changing merchandising companies. Most merchandising companies have a contract with the store chain that runs for a year. When the year is up, the chain takes bids on a new contract. Most always go with whatever merchandising company put in the lowest bid. meaning that if Acosta is now doing the stores then they won the bid over Spar.
I've been the 3rd party person in my stores a year and a half and it was a few months ago I started getting hints someone else was in one of them. Makes me want apply to Acosta.
