I do work for them on a monthly basis in Rite Aid stores servicing the CD and DVD display. They are not very organized and the work is getting less as more Rite Aid stores close.
Very Disorganized Company! Told them once I was no longer interested in working for them, and they assigned another store for me to do - AFTER I had already told them I quit! Left foot stepping all over the Left Hand!
Geez!

I have discovered that about disorganized. I emailed the person that sends me the jobs and told her that I wouldn't be able to do a store that was scheduled for the following week as I had to go in for emergency surgery ASAP. A family member has been checking my emails for me while I was in the hospital, and she sent one back a message saying well do it tomorrow, well that tomorrow I was in the hospital. And she sent several more saying this store needs to be done, when are you doing it. I just got out a few days ago, and can't work for 4 weeks. Well I have gotten several emails from a Jon Kleeman, when are you going to do this store. Apparently no one reads emails or don't pass them on.

Yes! See? This is exactly what I am talking about!! Send them an email, and it is as if no one ever reads the damn thing. It is not the best way to run a new business! With that said, however, it appears there are new people joining the company who happened to tell me (on the phone) to be patient as they (the new crew) were planning on a huge revamp to the office procedures, etc. Well, I tried to be patient, but after another email basically YELLING at me, I threw in the towel. There are SO MANY MORE companies out there, to work for, that don't treat their Merchandisers like they were a dime a dozen (even tho we really are...) It was a great gig at the beginning. All good things... ;-)
